In September, she shared a snap of her hand that had visible pale white patches as she revealed the condition had spread.

Georgia penned: ‘Having this condition is really, really getting to me at the moment.

‘I have NEVER seen it spread so fast. My skin is literally itching so badly as it does so.

‘9 months ago I went back to the Drs, was seen by a dermatologist and told I was going on the waiting list for phototherapy and I’ve heard nothing since.

‘I went back 2 weeks ago and was told ‘once you have been referred it’s nothing to do with us’. So there we go. Another hope of this being dealt with is lost in a process 5 years in.’

She added: ‘I’m literally getting covered now. Has anyone had any luck with Protopic without uvb?’

Vitiligo occurs when the skin cells that produce pigment – called melanocytes – come under attack and are destroyed, prompting the skin to turn a shade of milky-white.

Vitiligo can impact the skin on any part of the body – even the hair and inside of the mouth, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Georgia first revealed her condition to fans in 2022 after years of doctor’s visits to receive a diagnosis.

At the time, she explained that it affects her arms, hands, elbows and feet, with ‘new spots turning up all the time’.

‘When it appears on one side, it appears on the other. I try my hardest not to let it affect my mind. But it does get me down at times to know I will have this for life,’ she added.
