Kate Mansi is preparing to walk down the aisle… just as soon as she finishes this bite.
The General Hospital star, 36, hilariously announced her engagement to Matt McInnis, 40, on Friday with photo of herself modeling her massive diamond ring while biting into a burrito.
‘LGM(atty),’ she wrote on her Instagram Story with the photo.
After outlets picked up the photo and announcement, reporting that the acronym stood for ‘let’s get married,’ Mansi took to Instagram to set the record straight.
‘Never did I expect this to be the official photo of our announcement, but here we are,’ she captioned the photo. ‘(And LGM = Let’s Go Mets. But… semantics)’

McInnis also shared an engagement photo from the mountains after proposing just before the Independence Day holiday.
‘Apparently today is a holiday, but I think July 3rd was even better,’ the Jessica Jones producer captioned his post.
Mansi previously told Soap Opera Digest of her plans for the holiday weekend before McInnis popped the question.
‘I’ll be heading to a cabin to get in some much-needed nature time with my closest friends,’ said Mansi.
The couple was met with celebratory comments from friends and loved ones, including Mansi’s General Hospital co-stars Kirsten Storms, Kristina Wagner and Kristen Vaganos.
‘Wonderful Kate!! Congratulations to you on your new chapter. Big hugs,’ wrote Wagner.
‘Couldn’t love you two more,’ wrote Vaganos.
‘I’m SO happy for you! Sending you all the love!’ wrote Days of Our Lives star Nadia Bjorlin. ‘Congratulations!’
‘You’re adorable, I’m so so happy for you,’ wrote actress Courtney Hope.

Mansi was previously married to Blake Levin, opening up on the State of Mind podcast in October about how she felt ‘broken’ and like a ‘failure’ after the split.
‘Not only was I grieving the marriage I thought I was going to have, but the future that I thought I was going to have,’ she said.
‘In that moment, there was so much peace and so much freedom,’ added Mansi.
‘”No one’s coming to save me. I’ve got to pick myself up from this.” And that was the first moment of me really reclaiming myself.’
