Gemma Collins Pulls Prank with Secret Wedding Photo

has teased fans with a photo of herself in a wedding dress, revealing she has secretly married, but all is not as it seems.

The ex star, 45, has played an epic April Fools Day prank on her 2.2million Instagram followers, sharing a photo of herself on her 'wedding day'.

'Hey guys I got married in secret recently I didn’t marry as the GC i married as the girl @rami_hawash_ knows pre fame' she captioned the beaming snap, tagging her fiancé Rami Hawash, 50. 

'It was the most beautiful day with the most beautiful people in a room filled with love sadly the stories started to circulate so I have had to share this with you all now is the time,' the caption continued.

The post was met with a stream of comments, with many taken in by the prank. Comedian joined the fun by commenting: 'It was my pleasure to walk you down the aisle.'

Jedward star John Grimes, a pal of Gemma's added: 'It was such a beautiful day  loved being your flower boys and when gave us all a Jepic dance.' 

Gemma and Rami first dated in 2011, enjoying an on-off romance for three years, which included a Christmas 2012 proposal. But they went on to split in 2014.

The reality star rekindled her romance with the businessman in 2020 after her split from TOWIE co-star .

In 2024, Gemma announced she was engaged again after Rami proposed and they plan on actually saying 'I do' later this year. 

Speaking about her upcoming nuptials, Gemma recently explained that she wants a main ceremony in the UK, a second taking place abroad and then a 'formal one' for their closest family and friends.

In true GC style, she added that multiple celebrations means she is also planning to have several different wedding dresses. 

Last week though Gemma revealed her relationship 'took a hit' as she opened up on her  journey that left her 'broken'. 

While she has previously been open about her struggle to conceive and her IVF battle, Gemma has revealed the extent it impacted her relationship with Rami. 

Speaking during a first look at her brand new Sky series last week, the GC told : 'My relationship was obviously taking a bit of a hit, I was trying to have a baby - my whole world just fell apart.

'Because I was going through so much trauma and struggles, there was no performative person there.'

She added of her new show, Four Weddings And A Baby: 'Everyone gets to see the real me - you're in my home. It's what people don't see. I was broken.'

She previously said how she was considering going down the route of surrogacy, as well as fostering as her own mother was fostered as a child.

Gemma, who shot to fame on The Only Way Is Essex, has a low number of AMH hormones, meaning she also has a limited number of eggs available, and also suffers from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which directly affects the ovaries. 

She has previously suffered three miscarriages, with her first loss occurring in 2012, though she did not speak publicly about it until 2020.

Gemma said she did not realise she was pregnant at the time, and that the baby 'died in front of her' after giving birth at home on her landing.  

She suffered her second pregnancy loss in 2020 during the Covid pandemic.

Tragically, just a few months later, Gemma endured a third devastating miscarriage in July 2020 after falling pregnant with her ex-boyfriend James' baby.
