Gemma Collins has showed off her latest weight loss thanks to a new fad, just weeks after she admitted to having faked results in the past.
The TOWIE star, 43, confessed to MailOnline earlier this month that she would edit herself to look fatter in social media snaps in a bid to earn cash.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Gemma demonstrated to fans the weight she had lost by putting on a pair of trousers in her original size – which were way too big for her.
Gemma credited the weight loss to her latest chosen fad, a Japanese nutrition supplement called Fibre First.
‘Hi guys so I’m on a shoot and I just want to show you, look at that, that’s my normal size and that is why fibre plus is the one,’ she said. ‘I mean look at all that excess fabric.’

However some fans weren’t so convinced by her post, questioning its authenticity.
They commented: ‘First thing that caught my eye is that there is a tag on those trousers so unless gemma wears clothes with the tags still on so I doubt these trousers were ever tight/snug to begin with,’;
‘These are wide leg trousers with an elasticated waist, there supposed to be wide & roomy,’; ‘Are you joking?!! Omg she thinks everyone’s stupid,’;
‘She’s pulling an elasticated waistband, of course they are going to have a lot of give in them. Also might be more believable without the tag on the leg!!’
Speaking in an episode of The Mail’s Everything I Know About Me podcast earlier this month, the TOWIE star revealed the worrying lengths she went to while promoting her changing figure.
Gemma claimed she was sent to a bootcamp where she endured eight hours of exercise a day, before signing a huge deal to slim down.
However, when she headed to the interview to officially unveil her weight loss, she was told by the editor that she ‘hadn’t go thin enough.’

Taking to Instagram, she shared a duo of images – one taken in 2020 in Greece, shortly after she shed three stone using controversial dieting jabs, and another more recent shot showing her current image.
In a lengthy caption alongside the two shots, she warned her followers off pills, writing: ‘I am getting so many messages regarding someone on Facebook is advertising slimming pills with my pictures attached ! PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE’.
The two images attached to her post – taken four years apart – were designed to show the alleged transformation of the mis-sold pills.

Back in 2021, Gemma admitted she regrets promoting weight loss injections while attempting to slim down and believes the word ‘diet’ should be banned.

After posting her warning, Gemma returned to the photosharing site to post another swimsuit-clad image, this time showing her larking around on a yacht

However her paid promotional work has since been dismissed as ‘irresponsible’ amid claims the product itself has potential ‘life-affecting’ side-effects, and Gemma says she now regrets getting involved.
Speaking on her BBC Sounds podcast, she said: ‘I have said that I’m not promoting any diet injections or anything like that…
‘I kind of regret doing it, but I feel like sometimes you’re in such a desperate place and you want to lose weight, but actually I’ve come away from this diet promotion…
‘I wish we could get rid of that word diet, people think, oh my God diet, it’s a bad thing. It’s basically just what works for you.’
