Gemma Atkinson has revealed when her and fiancé Gorka Marquez will tie the knot as she shared a recent wedding update.
The radio presenter, 40, and professional dancer, 35, met as co-stars on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017, despite not being dance partners on the show.
But their relationship soon blossomed and they announced they were dating in 2018 before getting engaged in February 2021. They share daughter Mia, five, and son Thiago, two.
And now Gemma has revealed the couple wish to wait until their son is a bit older to officially tie the knot as they want him to play a part in the big day.
Speaking to the Express she shared the details: ‘We’ve toyed about doing it in Spain, so his family can come, and we’ve even thought about doing it in a registry office or a hotel in Manchester, just the two of us, and then have a big party after.
‘But I think now we want to wait until Thiago is a bit older, so maybe next year or the year after, as he’s only two.

‘If he’s a bit older, he could be involved in it, which would be really nice.’
Back in 2022 Gemma revealed she had postponed her wedding to Gorka due to both of their busy schedules – after saying she’d rather try for another baby than plan lavish nuptials.
She told New magazine: ‘Gorka is literally on tour all of this year. We’ve only got four days off together.
‘He’s got the two Strictly tours back to back, and then he’ll be going on Strictly in the autumn. We don’t even have a minute to sit down and begin making plans!’
It comes after Gemma and Gorka’s reality show was axed, despite its killer ratings – and the pair previously teasing that a new series was to come.
Gemma and Gorka: Life Behind The Lens, followed the couple’s lives with their two children behind the scenes.
However The Sun reported it has been cancelled after two series.

‘Gemma and Gorka are both very busy with other projects at the moment, so at this time, there are no current plans for another series, but we look forward to working with them again soon.’
