Gary Neville and Emma Hadfield Get Cozy at Newcastle Festival

Gary Neville packed on the PDA with his stunning wife Emma Hadfield as they lived it up at Newcastle Festival on Friday.

The football pundit, 50, looked more loved-up than ever with Emma, 45, as the pair shared a sweet kiss while watching The Reytons perform on stage.

Gary cut a laid-back figure for the outing, donning a dark grey denim jacket over a graphic print T-shirt, teamed with faded blue jeans and brown suede Chelsea boots.

The former Manchester United star appeared in great spirits as he clutched what appeared to be a pint of Guinness and filmed the band on stage.

Meanwhile, Emma looked effortlessly chic in a black leather jacket layered over a black lace semi-sheer top.

She showed off her tanned and toned pins in light-blue denim shorts, finishing off her look with black lace-up boots and a black Yves Saint Laurent cross-body bag.

The couple were spotted enjoying the set by indie rockers The Reytons, who were warming up the crowd ahead of headliners Kings of Leon.

Their outing comes after Gary called out pal Jamie Carragher’s, 47, ‘disrespectful’ new season predictions in a very awkward exchange on Monday Night Football last week.

The duo offered their thoughts on how the season could unfold on the Sky Sports show after watching the first weekend of top-flight football, which saw defending champions Liverpool win 4-2 over Bournemouth, Manchester City thrash Wolves 4-0, and Arsenal claim a narrow 1-0 victory over Manchester United.

Jamie predicted his old team, Liverpool, to retain the title under Arne Slot this season, while Gary tipped Arsenal to finally top the table after three consecutive runner-up finishes.

Despite disagreeing on the title winners, the pair were amicable until Gary selected Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim as his ‘manager to watch’ this season, which prompted Jamie to roar with laughter.

‘Why you laughing? It’s disrespect,’ Gary said as Jamie was chuckling.

‘You pick the Man United manager every year,’ the former Liverpool star responded, pointing to the board of selections. ‘You picked three (managers) last year and one of them was (Erik) ten Hag.’

Gary replied: ‘It’s disrespectful, the reason last year is a similar reason to this. Ten Hag, because I knew last season if he started badly, he’d be under massive pressure.

‘Similarly, Ruben Amorim – there’s probably going to be no in between here – if he starts off badly and they’re in 13th, 14th by October, November, he’s going to be under massive pressure.

‘He’s the Manchester United manager, he has to deliver in these first few months of the season. And I think he will outperform.’

Jamie, nodding to Gary’s prediction that Man United will finish in a Champions League place, interrupted: ‘Outperforming what? You’ve got them to finish fourth.’

‘Exactly,’ Gary replied. ‘I know you’re not sure about him and you wrote your article the other day saying that you think he’s not that good…’

The former United star’s remark prompted a quick back and forth, which saw the two pundits talk over each other, with Jamie immediately questioning, ‘Did I? You’ll have to read it.’

Gary then asked: ‘Well, what was your article about?’

‘It was about the two managers, (Arsenal boss Mikel) Arteta and Amorim. Amorim would be delighted if he was in Arteta’s position in three or four years.’

The tetchy squabble ended Monday Night Football’s predictions section, with Jamie picking Crystal Palace’s Oliver Glasner as his ‘manager to watch’.

The pair both acknowledged that Man City were also one of three contenders to be crowned champions, along with Arsenal and Liverpool.
