Gary Lucy hit back at a cruel troll after he was recently accused of not seeing his little daughter Bonnie, 11 months, by his ex-wife Laura Anderson.
Scottish TV star Laura, 35, took to her Instagram in July responding to a comment as she claimed Gary, 42, hadn’t seen his daughter since early January.
Responding to a troll who questioned whether Bonnie ever sees her father, Laura replied: ‘Do you mean has her daddy seen her…. No he hasn’t since 2nd January if you would like to direct those questions to him as I have no control over the actions of others x.’
A representative for Gary declined to comment when contacted by MailOnline.
Now, the EastEnders star broke his silence on the matter when a cruel troll commented below a recent Instagram clip of his children on Sunday.

The very sweet clip captured his son playing with Bonnie, who was laying in a bouncer.
‘When Theodore got to be the big Brother for the day …. If this doesn’t melt your heart I don’t know what will ♥️,’ he captioned.
The post was flooded with touching comments, yet a negative one caught Gary’s eye.
‘Funny you keep posting videos but you never see her,’ a person wrote – but the actor was quick to reply: ‘Nope only you “shaz” everyone else seemed to just enjoy a lovely video ….
‘I’ll block ya in a bit … then ya can set up a new email / insta profile so ya can keep a bitter twisted eye on my page.’
He went on adding in another comment below: ‘Course she does .. she’s invested hours n hours on ppls “instagram lives” that’s gotta going for something right ….. oh wait.’
One fan raced in his support, commenting: ‘Sounds like the Gary police are out in force today, leave the man alone, if you don’t like what he posts then don’t look and unfollow, I’m sure he won’t give a, its his profile, he can post what he likes. Rant over.’
Laura previously detailed the challenges she’s faced raising Bonnie as a single parent after she and Gary split before she was born.

One fan raced in his support
She told The Mirror: ‘I think it was hard to get my head around initially, it wasn’t what I expected. But that’s the cards I was dealt in the end. Of course, I’m going to make it work for my child, even more so. I feel like I’m a really good mum, to be honest.’
Offering advice to other parents facing the same challenges, she added: ‘Prioritise what you need to do, it’s just me. I have to make it work. I am tired but of course, I’m going to be tired. I’m bringing up a human soul, that’s what I signed up for.’
‘[Bonnie’s] great, your social life does take a little bit of a backseat but most people, your good friends understand that.’
‘Think how many mums out there are struggling with that work-life balance, it’s not just me. It’s so relatable and that’s the best thing about ‘Love Island’, having a social media following, I’ve really understood it more since having a baby. It’s so nice to resonate and it really is a positive place.’
‘It’s just full of mums, it’s not all about ‘you’re trying to look sexy all the time’ because that’s not important.’
It comes after last month Laura revealed what happened when she was forced to rush her daughter Bonnie to A&E recently.
Talking to MailOnline, Laura said she ‘knew straight away’ something was wrong with her only child as she opened up about her ‘frightening’ hospital trip.
Laura, who is the new host of the Scotland Capital breakfast show with co-presenter Fat Brestovci, revealed she had returned home from work and her little girl ‘didn’t seem herself’.
She explained that Bonnie had a very high temperature and a raised heart rate.
Laura detailed: ‘I got such a fright because I’d come straight from Capital and I was trialling a nanny so she didn’t know her too well and I came in and just looked at her and I thought you’re usually so smiley and happy but she didn’t really seem herself.’
‘I just knew straight away and then I picked her up and I felt she was so hot and I took her temperature and it was 39 and the thermometer went red and like flashed like an alarm.’
‘I phoned 111 and it said it was temporarily unavailable and I was like, “Oh my god I don’t know what to do”, so I phoned the children’s hospital near me and I said I don’t want to be overdramatic and they said come to A&E straight away.’
The former Love Island star, 35, and Gary have had an on-again, off-again relationship since meeting on Celebs Go Dating in 2022
She continued: ‘My heart just sank. I was like, oh I’m not overreacting. I was trying not to be stressed, her temperature had gone down a little bit and they did loads of tests and they had to try and get urine from her, which was a nightmare.’
‘They got some Calpol in her because she wouldn’t take it from me and then I took her to the GP the next day and they just checked her over again because her temperature was still quite high.’
‘She’s just on the mend, they said sometimes they can get a viral thing and it can raise their heart rate up as well when they’ve got a temperature so that’s quite alarming’.
