Gary Ablett Jr. and his wife Jordan have shared an update about their newborn son, six months after announcing his birth.
The AFL star has revealed their son, who they welcomed in July, is named Ezra (Ez for short).
‘We’re in a really good place,’ the Geelong Cats star told the Herald Sun this week.
‘When I think of this year I just think of three children and they’re very young, a lot of family time.’
Jordan announced the happy news of Ezra’s birth in a post back in July, alongside a precious image of Gary holding the newborn.

The lovebirds also share a daughter named Grace, who is two years old.
In an interview with the podcast The Significant Others in March 2021, Jordan spoke about the family’s heartbreak after Levi was diagnosed with a degenerative illness.
She said it took a long time for her son to be diagnosed with the unspecified disease, and detailed the devastation she and Gary felt after learning it was ‘life threatening’.
‘I just remember sitting with Gaz in that meeting and when they said it I just remember absolutely breaking down,’ she said.

After seeing a series of paediatricians, Jordan said it was the Geelong Football Club’s team doctor who finally put them in contact with the right person.
She said the new paediatrician ‘got the ball rolling’, and after months of concerns, the couple, who married in 2016, finally had some answers.
Jordan said she and Gary first became concerned after noticing Levi wasn’t reaching the same milestones as other children his age.
They decided to go public with the little boy’s condition because they didn’t want to have to lie when people asked about their son.
