Gareth Gates shared a rare snap with his daughter in an Instagram post on Sunday to celebrate her 16th birthday.
Taking to his social media, the singer, 40, uploaded a sweet picture of the pair for the special occasion.
He wore a white pleat front shirt with white trousers for the photo, cutting a dashing figure with a trimmed beard and his hair slicked to the side.
His daughter Missy looked a dead ringer for her famous father, sporting an off white dress, pairing it with a silver hooped earring on her right ear and letting her brunette tresses loose for the shoot.
In the background an array of olive and cream balloons could be spotted for the big day.
Gareth captioned the post: ‘Today my little princess turns 16.

‘Missy moo, I love you more than the world. The little lady you’ve become makes me beam with pride, I’m truly the luckiest Daddy.

It comes after MailOnline revealed that Gareth was helping his daughter get a record deal as she wants to follow in her talented father’s footsteps.
The Pop Idol runner-up, who has been on tour to pay tribute to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, admitted that the youngster already has her eyes set on fame.
He said that the aspiring performer is already working relentlessly to perfect her skill and has devoted every night after school to dance class.
After seeing her father shoot to fame on the talent show in 2002, Missy has followed him around the UK to watch him since she was a baby.
And Gareth mused: ‘She’s actually following in my footsteps.’

The star continued: ‘She’s got a great voice. She’s a great dancer. The more that she gets to be in and around that music world, the more that she learns.
‘She dances every night after school. You know, she’s kind of going through all of her grades.’
When asked if he would let her partake in vocal competitions like himself, he admitted he would prefer for Missy to write songs and land a deal that way instead.
‘I actually would like to try to sit down and write songs with her first and try and get her a record deal that way,’ he added.
He then revealed that he would love her to join him on tours in the future as he admitted that he thinks he will eventually be ‘her backup singer’.
Missy has already been recognised in the industry as she has been approached by The Voice Kids.
But Gareth revealed that while he would love for her daughter to take the route of songwriting and singing he really doesn’t know what avenue she will take when she takes that leap into stardom.

In January, Gareth revealed the heartbreaking moment his partner was forced to step in after he was viciously bullied by a cruel group of women on holiday.
He told Loose Women: ‘So unfortunately on the ships we had an incident, there was some women next door to our cabin, they learnt I was in that cabin, every time I went out on the balcony they started to mock my speech.
‘By going G-G-G Gareth Gates or sing the song Cha-cha-cha changes. I’m very very used to that. I’ve had it my whole life. But my other half, after two or three days of this, it got too much and so she went around.
‘She knocked on the door and said, “please can you stop doing this”… It was grown women doing it. We all have banter among my friends. I take the micky out of myself, my speech, but in a closed group.
‘I think knowing the person you’re mocking is able to hear it takes a different person. Thankfully she was my knight in shining armour and they stopped.’
