has announced the passing of her 'beautiful' sister, Carole.

In a heartbreaking tribute, revealed the loss as she recalled their sweet friendship, the laughter they shared, and the love Carole showed Garcelle's children.

'My beautiful sister Carole I will miss you so much! I will always remember times where we would laugh so hard it hurts! Whenever I said I love you you would reply I love you more!

'I wish we had more time !! I’ll never forget how you showed up when I had the twins and you would sleep in the nursery just so you could help And how much you loved Oliver.'

She added she hoped Carole was now 'laughing' with their late mother, Marie Claire.

'Hope you’re with mom now and the two of you are laughing RIP.'

She departed the show amid drama and later said appearing on RHOBH took a toll on her 'spirit'

In 2020 she made history as the first African-American cast member on Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

She began appearing on the show in it's 10th season before departing in season 14, announcing she had decided to step away in part to focus on her family.

'It's been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it's been a ride,' she told followers.

In an interview after her exit, Garcelle said the Housewives experience took a toll on her 'spirit.'

'As great of an opportunity as it was to be on the ‘Housewives,’ it was also heavy on my spirit,' she told Variety.

'Walking away has given me my power back. It’s given me a sense of freedom, and I’m in a good headspace. I want to create. I want to spend time with my family and friends.

'We live in a crazy world right now, and anywhere you can find joy and hold on to it for a bit is where we should all go. I am enjoying joy, peace and my life at this point.'
