The fashion brand Knix celebrated the hiring of actress and entrepreneur Gabriel Union as its new Global Brand Ambassador during a dinner party in New York City on Thursday.
Knix debuted the new partnership with its campaign and tagline ‘Knix For Life’ on its website.
This new brand mantra showcases the brand’s stated mission to provide products for every age and every stage of life, all while breaking down barriers and taboos and being a voice on topics that matter to their community.
For the party, the She’s All That star came dressed to impress in a long black skirt and white double-breasted suit jacket over a black crop top, which helped showcase her fab figure.
The 51-year-old Omaha, Nebraska, native had her raven locks styled straight and with a blunt shoulder-length cut and a part on the left.

Union also struck a few poses alongside Joanna Griffiths, the founder and president of Knix, who was decked out in a black skirt and matching cropped jacket over a neon yellow top.
She had her dark brown tresses flowing down over her shoulders with plenty of volume and natural waves while parting them just off the middle.
The Knix leader strutted her stuff in a pair of black strappy heels to round out her look.
During the dinner portion of the event, Union addressed her new colleagues, telling a little about herself and her plans for the future.
Griffiths also got up to talk with the guests about more of what’s ahead with the company, which launched in 2013.
With her guidance, Knix’s direct-to-consumer offerings have made it one of the fastest-growing apparel brands in the world.
Union became Knix’s newest Global Brand Ambassador in the wake of their $400 million acquisition by Essity in September 2022.
Since then, the brand has experienced double-digit growth and surpassed three million customers, according to a PR Newswire release on Thursday.
‘I’m proud to be working with a brand like Knix,’ Union said. ‘Their mission to inspire people to live unapologetically free, at any age and any stage is what resonated with me most. Because when I stopped caring about what everyone else thought, and leaned into what I thought — that’s when I felt empowered and free.’
Griffiths, 40, maintained that she created Knix, in part, because she was ‘tired of brands limiting women to one narrow image. We’re more than just sexy or sporty; we’re multifaceted.’
She added, ‘Gabrielle is the quintessential modern woman proving that we exist outside of a singular definition. Knix for life is about defying stereotypes no matter the stage or age you are in. I’m proud to support her and all women with products that match our dynamic lifestyle.’
Union — the wife of 42-year-old former NBA great Dwyane Wade — first worked with Knix when she contributed her personal experiences and images to the brand’s Life After Birth book, which was published by Rizzoli in 2021.
