But these days, Sydney-born actress Kimberley Cooper lives a very different life away from the spotlight.
The 43-year-old, who shot to fame in the early 2000s, is now living in Hollywood and was last known working as a bartender.
In recent years she has also worked as writer for plays, television and film, although it is unclear whether this career has proven successful.
Kimberley’s last known film credit was the 2015 thriller Natural Injustice, in which she played the leading role of Jessica Hunter.

The former soap star’s love life is however going swimmingly, as she recently became engaged to hunky Bryan Croker, an American businessman who owns a film and television distribution company.
Earlier this month, Kimberley took to Instagram to announce her engagement and share a glimpse at her incredible ruby ring.
‘Our first date was on 2.2 in his kitchen with drunken noodles, bacon wrapped shrimp and dumplings from his favourite Thai place,’ she began her heartwarming caption.

‘He proposed on the 22nd with our favourite Thai food from that first date in our kitchen (really my kitchen now) where we fell in love,’ she gushed, adding: ‘You are the personification of ‘worth the wait’ my love xxx.’
Speaking to New Idea magazine on Tuesday, Kimberley confirmed she and Bryan, 42, had selected her unique ring together, adding: ‘I love that it’s dramatic and kinda rock ‘n’ roll’.
The joyous news comes a decade after Kimberley’s split from ex-husband Nic Sacco, who she married back in 2010.

Kimberley is best known for starring on Home And Away from 1990 until 2002, as well as a small stint in 2011.
Her performance as bad girl Gypsy Nash earned her the Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent on Australian television in 1999.
Speaking about her time on the soap, she told The Courier Mail: ‘I never look at Home and Away and cringe. Unapologetically it’s good TV for the time that it is made in.’

In 2002, she competed on Australian Celebrity Big Brother, before relocating from Australia to New York City years later to perform in an Australian production of The Boys to American audiences.
She subsequently moved to LA, where she began working as an actress, writer and voice over artist.
In August 2019, she resurfaced in the headlines following the death of her former Home And Away co-star Ben Unwin.
Taking to Instagram shortly after the news of his death broke, Kimberley wrote: ‘You forever hold a special place in my heart. Love you Onion.

‘My first TV Week cover was with you. We had years of laughter, be it giggles on set trying to get through scenes as lovers or doubled over belly laughs at the pubs after work.’
Kimberley then promised that she would always ‘tell stories’ of the joyous times they shared.
She accompanied by uploading an old TV Week cover which pictured the pair on the show.
