While on stage, the 90-year-old singer, who rose to fame as the lead singer of the Four Seasons, looked frail as he held onto a microphone and mouthed along to the lyrics and snapped his fingers, alongside his enthusiastic backup dancers.
Despite his best efforts, his performance went viral on X as social media users expressed fears for his health and ability to continue his farewell tour through 2024.
Although some praised the music icon for ‘making money till his last breath’ and strong work ethic, the majority felt he ‘doesn’t need to go through this’ anymore.
‘What the hell? He couldn’t need the money, right? That is sad,’ one X user wrote while another described Valli as looking ‘like an extra in the Walking Dead.’

A fourth reminded other social media users that he is 90, so it is unreasonable to expect him to sing and move the same way he did in his heyday.

After it was reposted by the X user, @9mm_smg, the footage received more than 4.1 million views.
Valli, who has nearly 20 more performances between now and January, has been dodging allegations of lip-syncing over the past five years.
This has caused heated discussions among his fans over the authenticity of his live performances.
While some argue they don’t mind him allegedly lip-syncing and are mainly there for the nostalgia that his singing evokes, others say they feel ‘deceived.’
