The 92-year-old frontman of The Four Seasons announced his decision to step away from his Last Encores farewell tour in a statement posted to Instagram on Friday, assuring fans that he plans to continue the tour when he’s back on the mend.
'I’m so sorry to disappoint the folks who have purchased tickets to my shows, but I have decided to take the rest of the year off from touring to focus on my health,' Valli wrote. 'I’m looking forward to getting healthy and seeing you all again soon. Thank you for all your good wishes.'
His representative, Victoria Varela, told Variety the music icon opted to cancel the shows – as opposed to postponing them - because he wanted fans to recoup what they spent on tickets.

'Promoters want to prolong things and not give people their money back, but he needs to not keep rescheduling these shows,' the rep said. 'He realized he needed to take a break and get his health in order, and that is the true issue - he wants to get better without prolonging, through the rescheduling process, the pain of people who've bought these tickets.'

During a performance with his band, the singer appeared to be unstable on his feet and messed up lyrics while some observers believed he was lip syncing.
Fans commented that Valli should get some rest while others worried he looked exhausted.
However, Valli responded to the buzz, saying he was okay and no one was 'forcing' him to perform.
Francesco’s presence breached a restraining order the Grease singer has had in place since 2024 and is extended through next year, according to court records.
Francesco had left the scene by the time police arrived at the home of his father, who played the role of crime boss Rusty Millio on The Sopranos. No arrests were made in the incident, police told the outlet.
