Ariana Grande’s brother Frankie denied his sister has any actual ties to the practice of cannibalism via social media on Thursday.
Frankie, 41, took to X/Twitter in response to a post about how a ‘fan’s joke about Ariana Grande being a cannibal has gone viral in an effort to deter people away from buying concert tickets.’
Frankie, a native of New York City, laughed off the insinuation, clearly denying any links between his sister, 31, and the practice of consuming human remains. (They come less than a month after a controversy in which the singer said she found serial killer and cannibal Jeffrey Dahmer to be ‘pretty fascinating.’)
‘HAHAHAHAHAHA,’ Frankie said. ‘Wow! This might be the most creative and lowest y’all have ever gone. Reaching new depths daily!’
Frankie, who Ariana has called her ‘superhero’ in the past, clarified that the bizarre rumors swirling online were baseless.

‘Listen, I know my sister’s been eating the girls up for years but this a bit extreme!’ said Frankie, who has past been seen on the reality series Big Brother. ‘Besides, she’s vegan.’
Frankie, who has past been seen on the reality series Big Brother, was hailed in the comment section by a number of supportive statements.
One user said, ‘frankie i love you’ while another said, ‘ouuu not frankie involved.’
The online rumor came amid a trend in recent months in which fans have posted online ‘outlandish allegations against’ artists who they want to see live, and have access to better seats, according to Billboard.
Ariana has not revealed any tour dates to support her record Eternal Sunshine, which she released this past March.
Ariana said on the podcast Shut Up Evan on Tuesday that she has been streamlining plans for a ‘mini little sampling’ of concerts.
‘It’s something that my team and I are working on coming up with options for,’ Ariana said. ‘It’s for a multitude of reasons not going to be a tour in the way that I used to tour.’

In April, Frankie took to Instagram to honor his younger sister to commemorate National Siblings Day.
‘I want to take a moment to thank the BEST sister in the world for being there for me through thick and thin,’ he said. ‘From helping me with my sobriety journey to showing up for me at big moments in my life and career.
‘You are the best sister anyone could ask for and I’m eternally proud of you and all the sunshine you continue to spread in this world.’
Ariana’s remarks about Dahmer – who killed 17 victims from 1978-1991 and consumed their remains, in some cases – came during an appearance on the podcast Podcrushed on June 17.
She told host Penn Badgley that she had been fielding questions from young fans at a Q&A years back and had been asked who she would have wanted to have a dinner with.
‘I was infatuated with serial killers when I was younger,’ Grande said. ‘I was like, “Oh, you’re so cute. Mom and Dad, is it OK if I give the real answer?”
‘And they were like “Sure, what’s the answer?” and I was like, “I mean, Jeffrey Dahmer is pretty fascinating. I think I would have loved to have met him. Y’know, maybe with a third party or someone involved. But I have questions.”‘

The comment received considerable pushback from the public, while a mother of one of Dahmer’s victims publicly criticized the pop star for her remarks.
Shirley Hughes, the mother of Anthony ‘Tony’ Hughes, told TMZ on June 27 of Grande, ‘To me, it seems like she’s sick in her mind.
‘It’s not fancy or funny to say you would have wanted to do dinner with him. It’s also not something you should say to young people, which she says she did.’
