Frances Bean Cobain shared a romantic homage to her husband Riley Hawk as they celebrated their second wedding anniversary together.
The 33-year-old daughter of the late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain shared a photo from her wedding to pro skater Tony Hawk’s son, 32, via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.
Frances was pictured embracing her other half, who looked dapper in a black tuxedo, under a stunning floral arch in a flowing white wedding gown.
‘Celebrating our second wedding anniversary today! @rileyhawk,’ Frances — who shares a one-year-old son with Riley — wrote over the image.
‘We both forgot because we don’t sleep anymore but I wouldn’t want to walk sleeplessly through life with anyone else. I love him deep in my bones ❤️.’
Riley also marked the occasion on his Instagram Stories, calling Frances his ‘best friend.’

Riley and Frances — whose mom is rock star Courtney Love, 61 — got married in October 2023 and welcomed their first child together, son Ronin, in September 2024.
‘We just do our own thing,’ Riley, a first-time dad, told People about the legacy each of their family carries.
This comes after his dad Tony left fans in tears with an emotional reflection about the late Nirvana frontman never meeting their shared grandson.
‘We don’t really think too much about it, honestly, other than the fact that we do stuff like this with a video game, or whatever it may be, or something regarding her side of the family,’ he continued as he mentioned his appearance in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4.
He added: ‘But other than that, we’re just a very quiet stay-at-home family. We just hang out.’
Riley also noted that their son is ‘learning every day’ as they enjoy ‘growing as a family.’
Last September saw the iconic skateboarder, 56, become a first-time grandpa after his son Riley and his wife Frances welcomed their baby boy Ronin into the world.
At the time, Kurt’s daughter dropped the surprise update via Instagram and wrote: ‘9.17.2024 Ronin Walker Cobain Hawk. Welcome to the world most beautiful son. We love you more than anything.’
Months later, Tony took time to share his grief over the loss of family moments they would never get to share.
Taking to his Instagram story, he posted a picture of a ticket stub from a Nirvana concert he attended back in October 1991, in Houston, Texas.
Reflecting on the night, he wrote: ‘Went straight from a S.U.A.S. event at Houston Skatepark to this concert in 1991.’

‘It was as transformative as live music can possibly be; we all experienced something rare and powerful that night. The world would never be the same.’
He then noted how much it hurt to no longer have Kurt in the world as he continued: ‘I wish Kurt were here so he could see the incredible woman his daughter has become, meet her devoted, caring husband, and hold our wondrous grandchild.’
His post immediately struck a chord with fans as one raced to share the image on X, formerly Twitter, and wrote: ‘I am sobbing at Tony Hawk posting about his grandchild who is also Kurt Cobain’s grandchild.’
‘Shed a tear or two,’ one fan admitted while another joked: ‘Who the f**k is cutting onions?’
Many fans couldn’t help but marvel at the fact Ronin would be able boast about his iconic grandparents when he grows up.
Nirvana frontman Kurt took his own life on April 5, 1994.
The musician had risen past the status of a cult icon on the 90s grunge scene to find mainstream success, penning two critically acclaimed alt-rock albums and inspiring a generation of artists from the Arctic Monkeys to Lana del Rey.
