Celebrity MasterChef has secured an X Factor star and a celebrity make-up artist as excitement builds for the new series.
The celebrity version of the cooking competition returns in 2024, but a specific air date has not yet been announced.
Last year’s series was won by Welsh opera singer Wynne Evans, 52, better known as the ‘Go.Compare man’ from the company’s popular adverts.
Celebrity chef John Torode and food businessman Gregg Wallace return as the hosts of the reality programme.
Among the 20 stars battling out for the coveted MasterChef trophy will be singer and internet personality Jake Quickenden.

The next star to be announced for the competition is make-up artist to the stars, Dominic Skinner
Jake, 35, appeared on The X Factor in 2012 and 2014. He missed out on the live shows in his first series and in his second, exited at Week 3.
Despite this, he became a household name when he participated in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! the very next month.
Jake lost only to Carl ‘Foggarty’ Fogart, and the two got on so well that Carl introduced him to his daughter whom Jake was engaged to before they split.
In 2018, Jake returned to reality television and competed in Dancing On Ice, winning with German figure skater Vanessa Bauer.
The next star to be announced for the show is none other than the gloriously moustached Dominic Skinner.
Make-up artist to the stars, Dominic is currently a judge on BBC Three show Glow Up: Britain’s Next Make-Up Star.
He has been on the show since its start in 2019 and has worked alongside Stacey Dooley, Maya Jama, and British model Leomie Anderson.
Dominic boast over 600,000 followers on Instagram and will run three masterclasses in March – April for his followers in Dublin, London and Glasgow.
According to The Sun, Jake and Dominic are joining Loose Women and Lorraine star Christine Lampard and This Morning’s Craig Doyle.
Also on the cards are Line of Duty actress Rochenda Sandall, comedian Eshaan Akbar and Team GB sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeetey – who recently joined the Gladiators reboot as Nitro.
