Former Southern Charm cast member Kathryn Dennis’ SUV implicated in a hit-and-run accident, injuring a resource officer near an elementary school.

Southern Charm alum Kathryn Calhoun Dennis’ registered 2022 Ford SUV was reportedly involved in a hit-and-run collision in her native South Carolina last Friday.

A ‘knowledgeable source’ confirmed to People on Wednesday that the 32-year-old reality star was the one behind the wheel of the accident outside Whitesville Elementary School in Moncks Corner.

School resource officer deputy Michelle Ward – who was directing traffic at the time – confirmed she was the victim of the hit-and-run by reposting the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office accident report on her Facebook account.

In the comments, Ward told her followers she was feeling ‘sore, but good’ after the SUV ‘hurt my hand’ and she noted that ‘a parent got a pic of the [license plate] tag.’

‘[It] wasn’t part of my plan for the day,’ Michelle replied to another follower.

‘I was a bit pi**ed as well.’

Ward had informed Berkeley County dispatch that the vehicle ‘did not stop’ after striking her just before 7:18am, and she was ‘transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.’

Dennis and ex-partner Thomas Ravenel will celebrate the eighth birthday of their son St. Julien Rembert on November 9, and they’re also parents of nine-year-old daughter Kensington Calhoun.

‘When I am with you I feel so alive again – even when you can’t see me or hear me I am always thinking of you,’ the Charleston-born redhead – who boasts 1.3M social media followers – wrote to her children on September 6.

‘Know that our love connects us by an invisible string, always. I know that we will make it through these tough times and they won’t last forever. Sending strength to all of the co-parents out there.

‘No matter the situation being without your children is the most difficult pain you must carry each and every day you are without them. It’s so unnatural and such a drawn out devastation. We need each others love and support—here’s to hope for the future.’

The 61-year-old father-of-three – who also has a three-year-old son with ex Heather Mascoe – has primary legal custody and they share joint physical custody of their two children on a 50/50 week-on week-off basis.
