Daily Mail Australia can reveal that plans were in works for Jack Dunkley’s ex-girlfriend Courtney Jade to appear on the new season of Married At First Sight.
According to a well placed source, another groom slid into Courtney’s Instagram messages in late October to try and convince her to show up to the show’s reunion.
‘Another groom was desperate to try and catch Jack off-guard and spent weeks trying to get the cast to convince Courtney to crash the dinner party,’ the insider revealed.
‘They loved the idea of throwing Jack off and wanted him to go down.’
‘Several cast members including Mike Felix also played a huge part in trying to get her to appear on the show but she wasn’t having any of it,’ they added.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia on Thursday, Courtney confirmed that she was approached by different people with offers, but wanted nothing to do with the show.
‘I do wish I did [crash the reunion] after finding out he’s downplayed our relationship and disrespected me,’ she said on Wednesday.
‘But I also want nothing to do with that show so I stayed out of out. That’s all I have to say.’

The news comes just days after Courtney took to social media to share ‘very private’ pictures of her with Jack.
The photos, shared on her Instagram stories, depict a closeness that contradicts Jack’s recent claims about the nature of their relationship.
One of the images shows a seemingly intimate moment, with Courtney perched on Jack’s lap as he enveloped her in his arms.

Another snapshot captures the duo at the Gold Coast Airport, a memory that Courtney points out was captured merely a week before Jack allegedly called it quits, alongside the caption: ‘Does he look at Tori this way?’.
‘I don’t deserve to be portrayed the way I have been,’ Courtney wrote.
‘For something so meaningful to be disregarded like nothing … All I can do now is put my armour on and fight a battle I never wanted.’

Jack, who is ‘married’ to bride Tori Adams, rubbished speculation he bailed on his serious relationship, declaring their romance was strictly casual and described his ex as ‘a bit crazy’.

It comes after Courtney told Daily Mail Australia that she was left distressed as his ‘marriage’ plays out on national television.
‘I don’t deserve to be portrayed the way I have been,’ Courtney began. ‘For something so meaningful to be disregarded like nothing … All I can do now is put my armour on and fight a battle I never wanted’

‘It’s been a very hard time in my life. One that I don’t wish on anyone,’ she said earlier this month.
‘I hope this doesn’t continue to happen to other people. It was a horrible experience and not something I want to talk about.’
She said she is heartbroken that Jack is set to air dirty laundry about their breakup on the show.
‘I hope everyone gets some sickening entertainment out of my horrid breakup on Channel Nine,’ she vented.
‘I have no comment in regards to MAFS, so would appreciate it if media and all forms of communication would leave me in peace.’
She also disclosed her ongoing personal struggles following their bitter breakup, revealing she has been forced to go on medication and regularly see a psychologist.
‘I hope everyone gets some sickening entertainment out of my horrid breakup on Channel Nine,’ she vented
‘I have been seeing a therapist and have been medicated due to the disgusting trauma I have experienced and would like to be left alone to heal,’ she said.
Courtney explained the fact their breakup is set to play out so publicly has made things a lot harder to process.
‘It’s one thing to go through a breakup, but it’s another thing to have to relive it on nationwide TV and talk about it,’ she added.
‘Enjoy watching the fame hungry humans that ruin lives and create nothing but pain. I am embarrassed by the world we live in and am absolutely mortified by my experience.’

Questioning the premise of the show, she asked: ‘Creating love or creating monsters?’ before appealing for her privacy to be respected.
Back in August, Courtney revealed Jack split with her just before he went on the show.
‘Breaks up with me right after I met his family and he told me he loves me. Tells me it’s for [a] ‘work opportunity in America’ only to find out he’s on MAFS in Sydney,’ Courtney wrote on The Wash’s Instagram pictures.
Things were serious between the duo, with Courtney even selling furniture as they planned to move in together.
Jack is said to have been previously engaged to another woman.
