It’s Glenn Medeiros! He frequently appears on his daughter Lyric’s TikTok videos, where they do funny skits about him being an ’80s teenage pop star’.
Glenn, 53, is best known for his 1987 smash hit Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love for You, while he also had success with She Ain’t Worth It.
He was just 18 years old when Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You became a wedding reception staple and reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
But in the 1990s, Glenn left music behind him and became a teacher in his native Hawaii, working his way up to becoming a school principal back in 2017.
Despite leaving fame behind him, Glenn and his daughter Lyric’s TikTok videos have become hugely popular, with one racking up more than 17million views.
Speaking about his whirlwind 80s fame, Glenn told Amherst Records: ‘The song of mine I love singing most is Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You.
‘I enjoy people singing along with me and sharing stories about how that song played a special role in their lives many years ago.’
‘The most interesting story [from my career] involved me traveling to over 20 countries around the world by the age of after 18 after not traveling anywhere outside my home of Hawaii only two years prior,’ he added.

Lyric has followed in her father’s singing footsteps and appeared on American Idol earlier this year.
During her audition, she was asked by the judges to sing a second song after Katy Perry described her choice as ‘safe’, and she then belted out Carrie Underwood’s Before He Cheats.
Despite a difficult start, she was given a shot by the judges and made it through to Hollywood, but was unfortunately later knocked out of the contest.
