Fleur East revealed that she has returned to work just three weeks after giving birth to her newborn daughter and feels ‘amazing’ for it.
The former X Factor contestant, 36, welcomed her little girl Nova on 22 March alongside her husband Marcel Badiane, 35.
Since giving birth, Fleur had been taking time out to rest and get to grips with being a first-time mother.
But after receiving a booking whilst she was pregnant the singer decided to get back to work after a short break – despite having anxiety about it.
Fleur explained on Instagram on Sunday that it was ‘touch and go’ as to whether she would be able to perform so soon after giving birth.

The former X Factor contestant, 36, said getting back to work after a short break felt ‘amazing to perform’ but admitted that it had been ‘touch and go’ as to whether she could make it
The Sax hitmaker wrote: ‘While I was still pregnant, I received a booking to perform at a gig.
‘It was touch and go as to whether or not I would do it because it would be so soon after giving birth.
‘But this weekend, three weeks after having Nova, I decided I was ready to get back on stage and see how I get on.
‘I was anxious being without our baby girl for a bit and my body definitely doesn’t feel the same, but surprisingly the energy took over.’
Fleur shared a picture of herself looking incredible in a white dress and standing next to her backup dancers.
She continued: ‘It felt amazing to perform with these incredible ladies who gave me good, positive vibes on stage.
‘I was able to get out there, move my body, sing and do what I love and then get back to the little person I love with all my heart.’

She said: ‘I spoke to lots of you on my stories about Mum guilt and feeling anxious and it’s nice to know I’m not alone, we all experience it in some way, I’m told that it will get easier and a happy Mama means a happy bubba’

Parents and fans rushed to the comments section to share their joy for Fleur- but some were concerned for the mums health and urged her not to push herself ‘too much.’
One wrote: ‘Don’t push yourself too much… you can never get this precious fist few months back so enjoy your baby girl and put work on the back burner for now please.’;

Fleur gave birth to her daughter on her ‘living room floor,’ with her Marcel and her aunty Tina by her side .
Detailing the dramatic birth on Instagram, she wrote: ‘And just like that, our baby girl, Nova, is here!! Our daughter entered the world via squat position into the arms of my Husband and I on our living room floor.
‘One day I will share my birth story with you (what a RIDE!), but for now, we are resting and doing well.
‘So thankful to the amazing midwives who were by my side, my birthing partners (my auntie Tina and my Husband @marcel__robin) and all of our family who have been helping out and showering us with love’.
Before adding: ‘It really does take a village! So grateful to God for this blessing. Our little Nova was born on the 22nd March and it feels like she’s always been here’.
