Diana, famous for her hit single Once, announced on Instagram on May 8 that she’ll be performing as ‘Gwyneth’ in a play entitled I Wish You Well.

A jury sided with Gwyneth last year, saying she was not at fault for the injury he claimed to have sustained at Utah’s Deer Valley Resort.

Sanderson said he had suffered four broken ribs, a concussion and lasting brain damage. Gwyneth countersued for $1 and her legal fees.

‘So I thought I’d put some of these clips on here that I found of her beautiful voice! She sang more than me when I was around her.

‘Today will be hard, it’s really odd feeling for me, I have this feeling of wanting to do this gig for her, for her family and for us to remember what a crazy funny kind mad hilarious woman she was but also feeling I’d rather this festival not be here, and that Caz was still here with us. I’ve never felt emotions like this before a gig!

‘Although hard this festival is a special event, which brings everyone together not just to celebrate her life but help those out there that are struggling too, the amazing charities that are involved in this can really help people. I’m honoured to be here and I know she will be drinking a pina colada tonight watching x miss ya caz.’

Speaking about the ongoing struggle of mental health in the music and TV industry, Olly added: ‘Anyone in this profession has suffered from mental health issues. I had to go and see a therapist for someone who’s looked at as a bit of a geezer, I’m not afraid to admit that.

‘Talking to other people is the most important thing. Sometimes you just need a voice from the outside that isn’t a family, that isn’t your friends, to get to the nitty gritty of who you are.’

It came the day after hearing the Crown Prosecution Service would go ahead with a trial for allegedly attacking her model and former tennis player boyfriend Lewis Burton in December 2019.

Also paying tribute on Thursday was her close pal hair stylist Lou Teasdale who took to her Story to share a snap reading Caroline’s book as she simply put a kiss in the caption.

Caroline’s death was ruled a suicide in an inquest in August 2020 with coroner Mary Hassell, saying: ‘The key decision for me to make is whether Caroline took her own life…

‘I have to be satisfied she acted in a way so as to cause her death, and secondly that she intended to cause her death.

‘In Caroline’s case I am entirely satisfied she intended to cause her own death. She hanged herself. She had only one expectation – her own death. There’s no doubt in my mind at all.’

The coroner said she had experienced ‘fluctuating ill health’ and was ‘distressed’ at the thought of facing a trial.

She said: ‘Caroline had fluctuating mental ill health, she had had struggles in the past. She had had difficulties…

‘In spite of the fact she may have led – to some – a charmed life, actually the more famous she got the more some of these difficulties increased – she had to deal with the media in a way most of us don’t…

‘It was played out in the national press – and that was incredibly difficult for her. She faced the prospect of not working in the job she loved, losing a great deal…

‘I find the reason for her taking her life was she now knew she was being prosecuted for certainty, and she knew she would face the media, press, publicity – it would all come down upon her. To me, that’s it in essence.’

At the time, her mum Christine wept as she told the coroner over video-link: ‘I totally agree, I think you got it spot on.

‘We know you are not allowed to say certain things and it’s up to us if we want to take it any further, and we don’t. You’re spot on.’

Concluding, the coroner recorded a death of suicide caused by hanging.

Mrs Hassell said: ‘Caroline hanged herself at home on the morning of February 15 because of an exacerbation of fluctuating ill health and distress.’
