Filming for the new series of Celeb Cooking School was thrown into chaos after star Scotty T fell ill on set.
The Geordie Shore star was forced to put his TV comeback on hold giving himself food poisoning by eating a half-baked cake.
Speaking to The Sun, Scotty also revealed he nearly cut his fingers while flirting with his co-star Olivia Bentley on the E4 series.
The show sees a slew of celebrities test their cooking skills under the guidance of restaurant owner Giorgio Locatelli.
Scotty revealed: ‘There is a period on the show where I get food poisoning, but it was my own fault. I made this cake and the chef said it wasn’t cooked, but I just kept eating it.

Hosted by Melvin Odoom, Celeb Cooking School tests whether a bunch of celebs with no cooking abilities can be turned around when trained and judged by Michelin star chef, Giorgio who believes he can teach anyone how to cook.
Scotty and Olivia were joined by Nancy Dell’Ollio, Ann Widdecombe, Louie Spence, Nadia Rose, Blu Hydrangea, James Argent, Ruth Codd and Spuddz.
The intensive cookery crash course has the celebrities sweating it out in the kitchen, as they hilariously tackle a series of complex cooking challenges well beyond their ability – leading to chaos in the kitchen.
They’ll need to master crucial cookery techniques and gain confidence if they’re to be crowned ‘Best in Class’ at the end of the series. But if they don’t impress, they’ll get an F for Fail and leave the school for good.
In the first episode, which airs on Monday, Ann presents chef Giorgio Locatelli with boiled gammon and potatoes with teamed vegetables and a packet of parsley sauce.
But far from going down a treat, Ann herself calls her creation ‘inedible’, while the chef says it looks like a ‘Sunday dinner gone wrong.’

In the first episode of the E4 series, which kicks off on Monday Ann Widdecombe leaves a Michelin star chef wincing at her questionable cookery skills
Former MP Ann, who now backs the Reform UK party after being in the Conservatives for 55 years, is honest about her poor cooking ability.
Speaking to the camera, Ann confesses: ‘The joint itself is inedible! But the experience will be wasted if I don’t learn something!’
She goes onto give chef Giorgio a very in-character excuse for the poor results, quipping – much to the amusement of her castmates: ‘That stove is not like my Aga!’
However, when one of the other contestants asks the chef if he was really going to eat the meal, Ann responds with rage.
She turned on him, saying: ‘Don’t you describe my meat like that! What a rude man!’
Giorgio firstly takes issue with the vegetables, saying: ‘I would have loved you to peel the carrots.’
When Ann argues that she had, the chef quickly responds: ‘I can see why you’ve been in politics for so long!’
He adds: ‘The whole thing looks like a Sunday lunch gone wrong.’
The first series of the show, which aired in 2022, saw the likes of Sam Thompson, Kerry Katona and Shaun Ryder compete in the competition. It was won by First Dates star Laura Tott.
Celeb Cooking School starts on Monday, January 8 at 8pm on E4.
