At just sixteen years old, this copper-haired teen idol was too young to tour at regular venues in the 80s so her management team came up with a brilliant alternative: shopping mall concerts.
The nationwide mall tour – the first of its kind – had her performing for fellow teeny boppers all across America in the lead up to her debut self-titled album in 1987.
The record went on to sell a staggering seven million copies worldwide, thanks no doubt to that early exposure at every teenager’s favorite hangout.
Can you guess who it is?

Now a twice-divorced mother-of-one, she became an 80s pop sensation at just 16 years old after performing at shopping malls across the country

Known mononymously as Tiffany in her heyday, the former teen sensation today is a twice-divorced mom of one who is still singing and touring around the country.
Tiffany Darwish, now 52, was seen arriving for her show at the Canyon Club in Agoura Hills, California in exclusive DailyMail.com photos.
Dressed down in black leggings, a purple tie-dye shirt with her famous red locks flowing with colorful extensions added, sporting black nail polish, she carried two large bags into the back door of the venue.
Still as professional as ever, Tiffany showed up over three hours before she would take the stage at 8pm with her band.
The Canyon Club sells a variety of tickets. Guests who want to have dinner arrive at 7pm, while others can just have drinks at the bar, or even stand during the show.
There is even a small dance floor area so patrons can bust a move when their favorite song is performed.
Tiffany is now living far from Los Angeles on a quiet ranch in Tennessee.

These days Tiffany enjoys a quieter life on her six-acre ranch in Springfield, Tennessee, but continues to perform at concert venues in LA
Her trademark 1987 song ‘I Think We’re Alone Now’ famously became an international hit and made her one of the biggest pop stars of the decade.
The song was originally recorded in 1967 by the rock band Tommy James and the Shondells but it was Tiffany who took it to the top of the charts.
She even managed to bump Michael Jackson’s Bad out of the number one spot on the Billboard 200, making her the youngest female artist to earn the top position.
Tiffany went on to shock the world by posing for Playboy in 2002 at the age of 30 to show the world she was no longer that teen performer.
‘I’d do it again in a heartbeat’ she later said.
In 2011 she returned to the music scene with her country-pop style LP titled ‘Rose Tattoo’.

Born Tiffany Renee Darwish in Norwalk, California, she has a good attitude about the hit that made her famous, saying she never tires of singing it to fans, saying: ‘That song still gives people joy.’
No one-hit wonder, her twist on the 1963 Beatles hit, ‘I Saw HIM Standing There’ is another chart-topper she performs to this day, along with the somber ballad ‘Could’ve Been.’
The evening at the Canyon Club was a success with her pal Goonies actor and singer Corey Feldman, 53, showing up to support his friend and enjoy the show.
Tiffany has a busy touring schedule, after which she returns to her six-acre ranch in Springfield, Tennessee.
A country girl at heart, she says she enjoys gardening and the rural life after ditching Los Angeles over twenty years ago.
She was married to Bulmaro Garcia from 1992 to 2004, they have a son Elijah, 32, and later to Benn George from 2004 to 2018.
