Fergie shared rare photos of her son, Axl Jack Duhamel, while celebrating his 12th birthday this week.
On Friday, the singer-songwriter, who shares the preteen with her ex-husband Josh Duhamel, gushed over her mini-me son in a sweet birthday tribute.
She shared a carousel of photos of their recent adventures around sunny Los Angeles, showing off how her son was almost as tall as her already.
‘Axl Jack, the preteen,’ she began in her caption. ‘I am so proud to see how independent you’re becoming and what a kind human you are.’
She added: Discovering everything you’re into and watching you grow brings such joy… I feel so lucky to be your mom. Happy 12th birthday punks! I love you.’
The former Black Eyed Peas member, 50, finished off the adorable post with a throwback picture of her son when he was a toddler.
Her post comes just months after her ex-husband made a rare comment about watching their son Axl grow up.

Fergie and Duhamel, 52, were together for 15 years and married for eight of those before they separated in 2017 and finalized their divorce in 2019 but continued to maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship for their son.
Earlier this month, Duhamel spoke about watching Axl grow up and approaching the teenage years all while raising a two-year-old toddler at the same time.
He made a rare comment about his son Axl, explaining he has already gotten a taste of what’s to come after the boy’s trip to summer camp.
‘I have an 11-year-old who just went to camp in Minnesota and met a girl he really likes.’ the Las Vegas star told People.
‘He really wants to see this girl again from camp,’ the Love, Victor star explained. ‘I’m like, “Dude! You’re not even 12.” So, that’s going to be parent-supervised.’
‘Having a son with a crush is a new one for me, as a parent, anyway. But I get it, I’ve been there,’ the leading man said.
‘I have an 18-month-old baby who is still pooping his pants, and I just hope it doesn’t inverse. I hope that the 11-year-old doesn’t poop his pants on his first date. That would be terrible,’ he said teasingly.

In recent years, Duhamel also opened up about his split from Fergie while reflecting on their separation.

Earlier this year, the Shotgun Wedding actor made a rare comment about her — nearly six years after they filed for divorce.
He and Mari, a former Miss World America beauty queen, tied the knot in 2022 and welcomed their first child together, his second kid, in January 2024.
A few months ago, he admitted that he and his ex have ‘very little conflict’ with each other and have established a positive co-parenting relationship.
The actor admitted that though he’s still a ‘work in progress,’ he said he has learned a lot about himself through his relationship with Fergie, per Parade.
Back in October 2023, he told Graham Bensinger that he and Fergie ‘have a great relationship’ as they both strive to raise their son ‘without any acrimony.’
He added that he has ‘made peace with that part of my life’ and chalked up the relationship breaking down to them both wanting different lifestyles.
‘There wasn’t anything wrong with it. We actually had a great time, but I think we just kind of outgrew each other and had very different interests,’ he said at the time.
He said that the Hollywood lifestyle was ‘a lot’ for him to take in before adding that he ‘missed the simplicity of who I really am.’

‘You know Hollywood and LA, that whole lifestyle can suck the life out of you if you’re not careful,’ he said.
He explained that his preference for a low-key lifestyle is why hhe built a new home on a huge parcel of land deep in the Minnesota woods for his family.
‘Part of the reason I built my place out in Minnesota, deep in the woods, is it’s removed from everything,’ the actor says.
