Fats Timbo of The Undateables Marries in Stunning Gowns at Sierra Leonean-Polish Ceremony with Meryl Williams

She first found fame appearing on The Undateables.

Yet Fats Timbo proved she doesn’t needs the agency’s help to find love as she tied the knot with partner Alan Laszczak in a lavish ceremony in Cornwall on Sunday that merged their two cultures: Sierra Leonean and Polish.

The comedian, 28, looked incredible as she slipped into two stunning bridal gowns for the ceremony – which was attended by her close friend and The Traitors star, Meryl Williams.

For her first look, Fats modelled a white satin gown with Bardot sleeves and cut out detailing on the bodice.

She added to the ensemble with an ornate pearl necklace and a lace-adorned veil.

The Don’t Look Down star later changed into a strapless lace gown with a sweeping train as she partied the night away with her loved ones.

Meryl, 29, documented the day on her Instagram, sharing a gallery of snaps on Monday with the caption: ‘BEST WEDDING EVER ✨

‘It was such an honour to be part of your special day @fatstimbo & @alanlaszczak Seeing you both so happy together was so beautiful!

‘Forever grateful our paths crossed. Wishing you both a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and endless memories.’

Both Fats and Meryl were born with achondroplasia, the most common form of short-limbed dwarfism.

TikTok star Fats first found fame on The Undateables in 2018 – a reality series that follows single people with disabilities who sign up with a dating agency to help find partners.

She announced her engagement in May 2024 after her boyfriend of four years popped the question.

Photographer Alan – whom she did not meet on the show – proposed during the couple’s romantic trip to Thailand.

Fats told how she and Alan, who has cerebral palsy, ‘understand each other’ as they both have disabilities.

Speaking on Loose Women last year, she said: ‘He’s amazing, he’s a gentleman. Everything I want in a man. We both have a disability so we understand each other. I love to be on camera, he loves to be behind the camera, so it works.’

Discussing Alan’s proposal, Fats said: ‘I’m going to tell you what really happened. I saw a TikTok about someone getting proposed to on the last day of holiday.

‘So, I told him: “It’s been four years, no ring, what’s going on?” I was in a bit of a mood, I was thinking: “You’re taking me for a ride.”

‘He said: ‘Let’s go take a walk on the beach’. When we got there, he said: “You’re upset with me just turn around.” I turn around, and he’s on one knee.

Fats has previously explained that she does not like the term ‘dwarf’, preferring, as many do, ‘little person’.

Since appearing on The Undateables, she has gone on to feature in shows such as Don’t Look Down and was a commentator at the 2024 Paris Paralympics.

Fats has amassed a gargantuan 2.9 million followers on TikTok and over 300,000 followers on Instagram. She specialises in hilarious skits and is not afraid to make fun of herself.

Her fiancé Alan is also fond of social media and is detailing his fitness journey as someone with cerebral palsy.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Mail in 2024, Fats revealed that she initially turned down The Undateables, explaining: ‘I didn’t like the name whatsoever, that’s why I declined initially.

‘But then I thought about the bigger picture. I was very young, I was 20 and I thought I could find love.’

Fats continued: ‘Also, the first time I ever saw a Black little person was on The Undateables and I thought: ‘What if I do that for other people?’ So, I changed my mind and I messaged them.

‘It was a great experience to be honest with you. Although a lot of people say ‘you’re not undateable’ and I know it!

‘But I’m glad I went on there and showed people my personality and that’s where I started my journey. I’m proud to say I did.’
