In another snap, shards of broken glass could be seen on the ground near the cafe’s front entrance.

Taking to Instagram the cafe devastatingly shared: ‘Sorry we are unable to open our kitchen this morning as these three vile hooligans have caused ££££ of damage to our community.’

‘Please share and get in touch with their details so we can prosecute them and make them pay for their actions.’

Sussex Police have been contacted for comment.

It comes after the 60-year-old Brighton-based DJ, whose real name is Norman Cook, bought the cafe in 2013 from former model, businesswoman and animal rights activist Heather Mills.

The Ex-wife of Beatles star Paul McCartney ran the vegan café V Bites for four years.

In April 2017, he revealed his plans to turn a block of old toilets into a ‘community beach hub’ hipster café.

It was reported at the time that he believed the dilapidated block in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, had plenty of potential.

Adur District Council was also looking for a partner at the time to redevelop the rundown toilets.

The toilets in Shoreham were then set to become a cafe with a roof terrace, changing rooms, and a watersports centre.

Councillor Brian Boggis said at the time: ‘I am very pleased to see such exciting plans for this key site.

‘We’ve been clear that we wanted something exceptional for Shoreham Beach Green and I believe that this proposal will enhance facilities for the local community and the thousands of visitors who come to Shoreham Beach each year.’

In 2013, Fatboy Slim set up the Big Beach Cafe which also hosted his 50th birthday party.
