Fashion Designer Alex Perry flaunts his incredibly muscular body and tightly toned face in a rare gym selfie while commending his personal trainer and including a gorilla emoji.

Fashion designer to the stars Alex Perry has flaunted his impossibly buff physique in a rare gym selfie. 

The former Australia’s Next Top Model judge, 60, took to Instagram on Wednesday to show off his hard work at the gym, uploading a photo of himself posing alongside his trainer Simon Di Natale at City Gym in Sydney’s Darlinghurst. 

Pouting and flaunting his extremely taut visage, the catwalk king made sure to put his huge biceps on display in a black singlet top. 

He completed his look with a black baseball cap and fingerless weight lifting gloves. 

‘MY PT’S BETTER THAN YOURS!!!’ Alex captioned the image, adding a demon and gorilla emoji.

Simon, who is a bodybuilder, playfully responded to Alex’s tribute by commenting a love heart and gorilla emoji. 

Alex previously revealed in an interview with SBS his motivation for training hard, saying: ‘Going to the gym and working out just keeps me in peak physical and mental condition for whatever I’m faced with in the fashion industry.

‘After the initial year of going to the gym, I grew to hate it and I had to drag myself there, but I really enjoy it now.’

‘It makes me less stressed and then I can go home and feel normal.’

Greek-Australian Perry, whose real name is Alexandros Pertsinidis, has been married to wife Mary for over three decades. 

Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald about his successful marriage, Alex revealed that Mary was actually a driving force in the early days of his multimillion-dollar fashion empire.

Describing their different approaches to business, he said: ‘She is methodical and likes to plan. I make decisions in an instant and go with my gut.’ 

Perry’s instincts at times led their marriage into dangerous territory, especially when he made risky career decisions without checking in with Mary first.

‘I don’t know how she didn’t kick me out,’ he confessed.
