Farmer Wants A Wife fans are all pointing out a glaring difference from last year’s season as the show’s 15th instalment fast approaches.
The reality TV show, which hits screens on Monday April 21, has finally announced which farmers will be finding love in 2025, but there’s one thing that’s missing from the lineup this year – an extra farmer.
At the beginning of April, Seven Network revealed the four eligible bachelors, which include Farmer Tom, Farmer Corey, Farmer Thomas and Farmer Jarrad.
However, the lineup signals a change in format for the show, which starred six farmers in the first nine seasons and five last year after Todd Melbourne stepped in to replace Dean Blanckense.
Fans flooded social media with questions around the cut-down cast list and the rampant speculation that a farmer was scrubbed from the show at the eleventh hour.
‘Only 4 farmers,’ one person wrote in the comments section of an Instagram post, which was met with the response: ‘Quality over quantity maybe?’

‘Surely there’s a couple more than just four?’ another chimed in on Facebook.
‘Hope Ch 7 add a few more farmers to the starting 4 along the way!’ another person said of the show, while another avid fan simply put: ‘Why only 4 farmers ?’
One person was critical about the last season while pointing out the lack of participants this year: ‘Only 4 farmers, probably rush it through like last years.’
Others were quick to question where Farmer Jack was, a contestant who filmed the latest series but was cut at the last minute.
‘What happened to farmer Jack from Oberon NSW,’ one person wrote of the controversial farmer.
‘Where’s Jack..?’ another fan simply put.
Daily Mail Australia recently revealed that there had been a fifth farmer in the mix, Jack Rowlandson, 26, however he was cut from the show’s final edit after a number of controversies shrouded his quest for love.
In March, Channel Seven confirmed a contestant had been axed from the upcoming season after he was caught hooking up with other women during filming last year, and it was later on revealed to be Jack.

The professional bull rider was not part of the cast when Seven officially announced the farmers starring on the show, but was in the final eight lineup.
Daily Mail Australia had previously revealed there was turmoil on the set of the bucolic dating show when it emerged that the handsome reality star was seeing more than one of the contestants at the same time.
On Monday, Seven dropped the first trailer of the new season— and Rowlandson was nowhere to be seen.
Seven instead presented four final cast members looking for love – Jarrad, 22, and Corey, 24, Thomas, 35, and Tom, 31.
Originally eight farmers, including Rowlandson, were announced as taking part in filming for the 2025 season, while Seven sifted through thousands of applicants from women wanting to appear on the show as contestants.
Reports surfaced last July that two men would be cut from the final line-up with just six farmers taking to the screen.
However, it appears there was turmoil during filming when Rowlandson’s amorous adventures forced producers to edit him out completely.
As Mail+ reported last month, the former soldier became involved with an off-air interloper as well as seeing more than one contestant.
One contestant had experience as an OnlyFans model.
