The title is a play on Odom's brush with death after a drug overdose at the Love Ranch, a brothel, in October 2015; and how his then-spouse rallied to his side at his lowest ebb.
'This documentary traces the life of Lamar Odom,' Netflix said in a logline, 'from his rise to NBA fame and marriage to Khloe Kardashian to his near-fatal overdose in a Nevada brothel.'
Multiple users said the title of the project was confusing, leading some to erroneously infer that Odom, 46, was no longer alive.
'Lamar Odom died?!????' one user asked of the reality star/athlete, who played forward for the Clippers and Lakers the bulk of his career. 'What in the world is this title Netflix?'
