Big Brother fans have shared their outrage at housemate Richard being ‘tortured’ as they declared he ‘can’t catch a break’.
The composer and author has already this week had to sleep on a mattress on the floor, make his nominations face to face, eat a very spicy curry and is automatically up for eviction after receiving the ‘cursed eye’.
And on Thursday’s episode, Richard was left out of the shopping task as he was declared an NPC (non-playing character).
This meant the 60-year-old was forced to sit outside in the cold all day in a ‘Game Over’ cage – before he’d even had his morning coffee.
The ‘cursed’ housemate’s latest tough moment has however upset viewers, as they deemed it had ‘gone on too long’ and said he must be feeling ‘isolated’.
Taking to X, they wrote: ‘The fact that Richard’s been put in the jail on his own all day without even having a cup of coffee is actually getting to me, like why couldn’t he have been the eye monster or something,’;

Elsewhere in the episode, contestant George Gilbert’s final conversation with the show’s figurehead has been revealed after he was booted from the house over ‘offensive language’.Â
The reality TV contestant, 23, who is a Parish councillor from Braintree, Essex, was removed from the house because of the multiple language offences.Â

The latest in a string of tough moments for the ‘cursed’ housemate has however upset viewers, as they deemed it had ‘gone on too long’ and said he must be feeling ‘isolated’
A Big Brother spokesperson revealed on Wednesday: ‘Following repeated use of unacceptable language and behaviour, George has been removed from the Big Brother House with immediate effect and will no longer participate in the programme.’
George was previously given several warnings for unacceptable language, with one seen during Monday in the form of a formal warning issued in the Diary Room.
It remains unconfirmed exactly what George said to trigger the eviction.Â
In Thursday night’s episode he was again seen being called to the Diary Room for another chat with Big Brother, before he is asked to leave.Â
Big Brother said: ‘George, before you entered the House the rules regarding unacceptable and offensive language and behaviour were explained to you.
‘Big Brother has warned you on several separate occasions about language, including issuing you with a formal warning.Â
‘Despite this, at 6:22pm, in a conversation about conspiracy theories, the words you used broke the rules regarding unacceptable and offensive language on multiple occasions.

‘George, Big Brother thinks that your repeated use of offensive language in the house including during yesterday’s conversation is unacceptable.Â
‘Big Brother cannot permit you to use language in a manner which is likely to be considered offensive by Housemates or the viewing public.’
George responded: ‘Understood,’ before Big Brother continues: ‘Despite the prior warnings and the opportunities we have given you to adjust your language in the House, you have persisted in using offensive language.Â
‘And as a result, Big Brother has no choice other than to remove you from the House.’
Big Brother gave him the opportunity to leave one final message, asking: ‘George, is there anything that you would like to say?’
To which George responded: ‘I always want to question any theory, any movement, I just like to, I just want to know the truth about things and I’m sorry.
‘I’m really gutted but if that’s what you want to do then I’m sorry it’s ended like this.’
