A man has outraged Bluey fans after complaining about children who ask him about his tattoo of the cartoon character.
Last week, the male took to X (formerly Twitter) to upload a photo of his new tattoo, which shows the beloved character emerging from a red flower.
However, the caption that accompanied the picture drew the ire of Bluey fans on social media.
‘New ink…hurt like heck but it’s healing like heaven. But to any breeders out there, please stop your little seed spawns from talking to me about it? It’s giving me the ick,’ the post read.
Fans of the show roasted the post, with many claiming the man shouldn’t have had the photo tattooed on his arm if he didn’t want to be asked about it.
But then one person suggested the tattoo might not even be genuine after a similar photo went viral in 2021.
‘I got a tattoo of a children’s show character and now children want to talk to me about it how could this happen,’ one person said.
Another sarcastic commenter added: ‘Wait, why are kids asking me about the tattoo of beloved children’s cartoon character Bluey I have on a readily viewed part of my body? I had no idea this would happen. Parents, police your children, please because I make bad decisions.’

‘Maybe get adult interests lol,’ someone else quipped.Â
‘Why exactly do you like a show that centres around two “little seed spawns” and their “breeder” parents?’ asked another X user.
The post also received backlash when it was shared to a Bluey fan group on Facebook.
‘How can I get attention while also being a complete tool?? I got it!!’ one comment read.
‘I think referring to people as “breeders” is more “ick” than a child approaching someone who tattooed a child’s cartoon character on a very obvious spot but…yeah…okay…’ remarked another Facebook user.
However, there are signs the tattoo might not even be genuine.
A reverse image search on Google reveals an identical photo was shared in 2021 on a tattoo parlour’s Facebook page.
This led to some fans on social media suggesting that the post on X was merely to get a reaction out of people.
‘The caption has got to be rage bait. They can’t really be serious,’ one person said.

Bluey, arguably Australia’s most popular children’s TV show, follows the adventures of ‘a loveable, inexhaustible six-year-old Blue Heeler dog’ along with her family, which includes her mum, dad and younger sister, and her friends.
The animated series won the Kids: Preschool Award at the 2019 International Emmys.
The show has even captured the hearts and minds of schoolchildren across America and is changing the way they speak.
Kids in the United States are beginning to speak with an unmistakable Australian twang after watching Bluey.
The cartoon has become wildly popular in the U.S. after premiering on the Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney+ in September 2019.
In 2020, The New York Times described the show as ‘the biggest Australian export since The Wiggles’ – the country’s most famous children’s band.
The cartoon stays true to its true-blue roots and is packed with ‘g’day’ greetings and Aussie phrases like ‘show us your thongs, muffin!’
