Farmer Wants A Wife fans have become convinced that Farmer Joe Bobbin has a celebrity lookalike.
The 2024 series of the Channel 7 dating show kicked off last weekend and former Canberra Raiders junior Joe, 33, is among the farmers looking for love.
But viewers have been left distracted by one key detail as they couldn’t help but take to social media to comment on who they think his celebrity lookalike is.
After Joe showed off his muscular frame while going shirtless on a boating date, fans were quick to compare him to none other than Wolverine actor Hugh Jackman.
They wrote: ‘He reminds me of Hugh Jackman – Wolverine style’; ‘Looks like a young Hugh Jackman!’; Don’t you think he looks a bit like Hugh Jackman, I thought that straight away!’;

‘Gives young Hugh Jackman vibes’; ‘Is it just me or does anyone else see @thehughjackman here??’
Farmer Joe himself has even admitted he has been compared to the muscular Aussie Hollywood legend before.
He told Yahoo! Lifestyle: ‘I’ve had that before actually. I’ve quite often gone to fancy dresses as Wolverine so it’s come in before.’
Viewers were introduced to Joe and his fellow farmers Tom, Bert, Dustin and Dean during Sunday night’s premiere, hosted by Samantha Armytage.

The five farmers are all looking for love on the popular dating show, but it was recently revealed that a roster of eight bachelors were originally considered.
A source told New Idea this is the ‘typical format of the show’, with more farmers announced in pre-production than the number that ultimately goes to air.
One of the dumped bachelors, South Australian cattle and crop farmer Zac, opened up about being dropped from the show to Greater SA last month, saying ‘some things just aren’t meant to be’.

However, Zac, 28, also said he remains hopeful he will find his match some other way.
The other farmers snubbed by the 2024 edition included Nick, 22, also from South Australia, and cattle rancher Todd, 33, from Baan Baa, New South Wales.
Set across farms in New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria, the 14th season of the hit reality show features five young farmers looking for love.
