The back-up husbands were presented to the brides in a controversial 'Grass is Greener' challenge. 

The women were met with the task of meeting other men the relationship experts also felt could be their match. 

Some of the brides made very flirty connections with the men they almost married, but one fella stood out above the rest. 

Charismatic Ignatius, who was parried with Rachel Gilmore, captured the attention of viewers. 

While Rachel stayed loyal to her groom Steven Danyluk and waxed lyrical about their connection during her lunch date with Ignatius, fans tuning in at home were smitten with him.

Several people posted to this week, begging Channel Nine to bring back Ignatius next season. 

'He's a sweetheart and I want to know more about him. PLEASE bring him next season,' one post read.

His work has led him to rub shoulders with Married At First Sight royalty, as he was pictured with season six star and her  contestant partner Dally Eden at a recent PrizePop event.
