The singer, 33, came under fire after she underwent a groundbreaking Prenuvo scan, which provides early detection for more than 500 cancers and diseases.
Rita, whose mother Vera previously battled breast cancer, said she believes in ‘doing anything she can’ to keep herself healthy as a result.
Sharing photos of herself ahead of undergoing the scan, Rita wrote: ‘With my mum’s history of breast cancer, being proactive and not reactive with physical health has alway been so important to me.
‘I’m a huge believer in doing anything I can to keep myself healthy and learn about my body. So recently I went to @prenuvo to get a full body scan.

However, Rita received harsh criticism from fans who pointed out the scan will mostly be used by the ‘wealthy’ and not ordinary people.

Another added: ‘Wow, advertising proactive scans for the wealthy and priviledged, a full body MRI is something the vast majority of people can’t afford. I wonder if you paid for your scan?’
A third wrote: ‘That’s great Rita but how affordable is this for ordinary people? It’s probably not even accessible for the general public.’

However, the comment section was flooded with messages about how the scan was ‘not affordable’ for ‘regular folks’.
One fan wrote: ‘Another very tone deaf post from a Kardashian’ while a second typed: ‘Tone deaf and incorrect information!!’
Another wrote: ‘Love a billionaire recommending preventative care that is totally inaccessible to 98% of your fan base, total vibe.’
Prenuvo shared the image on their Instagram Story as well as a note that praised her ‘generous goodwill support.’

‘I plan on lasting a really long time. I need a lot of energy because I have this really crazy life. Six kids, 12 grandchildren, lots of other people in my life that need my energy, my attention. I wanna be able to do the things I want to do,’ she said in a confessional.
She continued: ‘I cannot tell you how proactive I am in my health care… my mother worked until she was 82. That’s such a great example for me of someone who lived her life to the fullest, and I really emulate that life that she’s had.’
Ultimately, her scans revealed that her brain looks ‘perfect, with no concerning lesions.’
