The first couples for Love Island: All Stars have been revealed after viewers were tasked with pairing up the 12 returning singletons in the ITV2 series.
In the final moments of Monday’s launch show, host Maya Jama announced which girls and boys would be coupled up, and the result threw out some unlikely pairs.
Former flames Jake Cornish and Liberty Poole were immediately put together, three years bringing an end to their romance in the 2021 series.
Despite three girls admitting that Chris Taylor caught their eye earlier in the episode, the public decided that he would be best matched with Demi Jones.
While the pair admitted they wouldn’t have been each other’s first choice, it was something that they could ‘work on.’
Up next was series one hunk Luis Morrison, and it was revealed that he’d been paired up with 2017 star Georgia Harrison.

The Essex beauty shared her delight at the vote, saying: ‘I’m happy I think Luis is really fun, I think he’s got a nice voice he’s from London so yeah, he’s a good match.’
Toby Aromolaran was chosen to be coupled up with Georgia Steele, with the pair’s history coming as a shock to fans earlier in the episode.
The duo, who didn’t appeared together on the main show, were coupled up for recent spin-off series The Games which did not air in the UK.
After Georgia said their relationship ‘failed to get off the ground’ the other girls’ suggested there might be unfinished business between the pair.
It was clear that the pair were comfortable in each other’s company, with Georgia struggling to explain their sizzling chemistry.
Anton Danyluk was coupled up with Hannah Elizabeth, with viewers then on tenterhooks to see whether Jake and Liberty would be reunited.
It was soon revealed that the pair would be coupled up together, with things clearly awkward between them as they shared a brief embrace.
Asked whether there was any possibility that they could rekindle their romance, Liberty and Jake answered with a firm ‘No.’
This then meant that Mitch Taylor and Kaz Kamwi were the sixth and final couple.
Fans were quick to share their fury that Jake and Liberty had been coupled up, with some claiming viewers had ‘done her dirty.’
One posted: ‘They did Liberty bad! Why on earth!’
Another added: ‘This was always going to happen. The public are evil,’ while a third tweeted: ‘This is just plain nasty.’
Through their hysterics one fan posted: ‘Phaaa never laughed so loud this is the funniest thing, this is why I love love island hahaha.’
