Fans Believe Paris Hilton Subtly Targeted Meghan Markle by Wearing Kate Middleton’s $4600 Dress

Fans are convinved that Paris Hilton has taken a swipe against Meghan Markle after she turned up at the same two parties as her wearing a $4600 Jenny Packham dress previously worn by Kate Middleton.

Paris, 44, looked incredible wearing the ice blue Lovebird dress to both the Baby2Baby event and Kris Jenner’s 007 themed birthday party on November 8 – both of which were attended by Meghan, 44.

Kate, 43, wore the same dress in gold to the 007 premiere back in 2021. 

Paris added long gloves to her look and matching sunglasses and it appears Kate’s version had a slightly more modest neckline. 

Meghan also attended the Baby2Baby event at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood before going with Prince Harry to Kris’ celeb-tastic bash.

Kris, who previously celebrated turning 60 with a party inspired by The Great Gatsby, is said to have opted for 007 this year as a play on the number 70, Page Six reported.

Stars flocked to the exclusive event, which is being held at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s $165m Beverly Hills mansion, according to TMZ.

Some people have said they believe that Paris’ decision to wear the same dress as Kate to the same events Meghan was attending was a subtle swipe against her.

They wrote on Reddit: ‘Murkle must have had a near-stroke when she saw that dress on Paris and immeditately knew that she was wearing it to the 007-Themed Birthday Party.’ 

‘I believe it. Probably one of the reasons our duchess of yachts was p***ed off. I love that. I like Paris Hilton now after this.’

‘Now THAT is what we can definitely call a ‘sweet nod’!! Nicely played, Paris!’ 

Yet others are convinced that Paris wouldn’t known Meghan was going to the event in time and it’s nothing short of a coincidence.

Some fans believe Paris only wore the dress because Kris’ party was Bond themed and Kate wore it to the Bond premiere  which created a link – pictured in it at the Baby2Baby event 

Moreover, many people have suggested that Paris simply wore the dress to Kris’ Bond-themed party because Kate wore it to the Bond premiere, making it theme-appropriate. 

They wrote: ‘I assumed that this was the case – Catherine wore the dress to the last 007 premiere, and Kris Jenner’s party was Bond-themed (0070)… I didn’t think it was that deep.’

‘LOL if anyone thinks that Paris Hilton – Paris Hilton – is planning an outfit around MM’s reaction.’

‘But why? She didn’t know Meghan and Harry would be there because they weren’t invited. If she wore it simply because she thought hey that’s actually a really great dress to wear to this party design, I could see that. But who is she sending a message to? Paris Hilton doesn’t get involved in these petty celebrity games anymore.’ 

‘Now, I like this rumor, but for it to be legit, Paris would’ve had to have advance notice that Rachel [using Meghan’s Suits character name] was attending one or both of the events. 

‘At least enough time to secure the dress (unless she had it hanging in a closet already which is totally possible), and enough time to decide to wear it. So for this possibility (Paris wearing this dress intentionally as a dig to Rachel) to exist, Rachel MUST have been actually invited, and Paris must have known about it. See what I’m saying?’
