MasterChef Australia fan favourite Anna Polyviou sent fans wild when she returned to the popular cookery show.
The beloved pastry chef appeared on the show in an episode earlier this week as she shook up the competition with a very difficult challenge.
Famous for her inventive desserts, Anna tasked one aspiring chef with creating a unique ‘sunny side up’ dessert as part of the infamous pressure test.

Married At First Sight’s Lauren Dunn, who is a friend of Anna’s, was among the gushing admirers.
‘Yewww cannot wait,’ the MAFS bride wrote in the comments ahead of her episode airing.
‘It’s fabulous to see you back on telly Anna!’ wrote another follower.
‘Go girl,’ said another fan, while one more added: ‘Can’t wait to see what inception is waiting under there.’
Anna has previously brought her intense pressure test dessert challenges to MasterChef, and appeared on the show as a guest judge from 2014-2016.

The pressure tests challenge the contestants’ abilities to work under extreme pressure and see them tasked with creating dishes under short time constraints.
Anna is a familiar face on the culinary scene and even won 2016 Pastry Chef of the Year by Gault&Millau for her unique and masterful creations.
Elsewhere, new MasterChef judge Sofia Levin has impressed the cast and crew of the hit cooking competition show.
A source has told how she has ‘real’ on-screen ‘chemistry’ with Andy, 36, and the pair have become good friends since appearing on the show together.
MasterChef Australia has seen a huge shake-up this year as Sofia Levin, Poh Ling Yeow and Jean-Christophe Novelli have all joined the panel alongside Andy Allen
‘You can see they have real chemistry, and casting has a lot to do with making these judges pop on camera,’ they told Woman’s Day.
‘The long days were hard but Sofia made everything fun for cast and crew.’
Andy, who is married to Alex Davey, won the fourth season of MasterChef Australia in 2012 and made his debut on the judging panel in 2020.
The three new judges have replaced the outgoing Melissa Leong and Jock Zonfrillo, who tragically died in April last year.
