Taking to Twitter, one questioned: ‘Lauren how hard is it say Colson,’ while a second wrote: ‘what is so hard about pronouncing COLSON??’
A third advised: ‘Lauren, just try looking at the letters C-O-L-S-O-N then pronouncing his name. Or better still, ask the lad how his name is pronounced.’
Another made the point: ‘After living with someone for 3 days you should really know their name. I don’t like people who pretend to be thick as. It’s not funny.’
While another added: ‘Lauren not remembering Colson’s name is quite simply just rude and a really valid reason to nominate her! So dismissive and out of line’.
Another commented: ‘Colson is an easy name to say that’s 100% got to be a joke or just plain rude’.
Another asked: ‘Surely “Collester” is harder to say and remember than his actual name which is COLSON’.
Lauren received six nominations during Thursday’s episode from Bradley Riches, Colson, Gary Goldsmith, Marisha Wallace, Nikita Kuzmin and Zeze Millz.
Colson explained that his reason was because the star had failed to learn his name and had called him a range of other titles, including ‘Colchester’.

Lauren joins Gary who is also up for the public vote after he was previously nominated by celebrity lodger Sharon Osbourne who had the power to nominate one housemate to face the first live eviction.
The housemates were also left stunned during the episode when it’s revealed that Lauren and Louis Walsh had broke the rules by discussing nominations.
Big Brother read out Louis and Lauren’s conversation to the rest of the house, including Lauren referring to Zeze when she says, ‘She hates me.’
Asked to stand up, Lauren attempted to apologise by saying: ‘I’m sorry for putting you all in this situation. I was talking about my emotions and how I was feeling about being nominated.
‘In fairness, I’m living with a group of people who I have grown to love and adore and it’s upset me that a few different people, not just one person, has nominated me.
‘I’m sorry for getting everyone in this situation and I apologise.’
Louis stands up and says: ‘I couldn’t understand how she was nominated because she’s such a great person. I didn’t want to lose her. That’s all.’
