Fans accuse Ashley Benson of using Ozempic for weight loss

Ashley Benson defended her post-pregnancy weight loss journey after trolls claimed she used Ozempic to achieve her results. 

The  Pretty Little Liars alum, 34 — who welcomed daughter Aspen with husband Brandon Davis in February — took to her Instagram on Monday to clap back at the comments on a photo of her looking trim in a tank top. 

One critic wrote, ‘How was she JUST pregnant?!?,’ as another added a photo of the type 2 diabetes medication. 

‘I know a lot of people taking Ozempic and it’s totally fine. To each their own,’ Ashley began. ‘But don’t discredit people who also work very hard to get their body back like I’ve done with mine.’

She concluded: ‘Getting back to work forced me to focus on my health and working out and I wanted to feel confident and good about myself.’

Her trainer Melissa Wood-Tepperberg showed support for the Hollywood star, commenting: ‘It’s a way of life!!!!!! When you walk away from moving your body in this way, you feel it. Not just in your body, but mostly in your mind.

‘It’s the thing that brings you back because you realize how much stronger you are inside and feel when you have a devotion to yourself and your practice. You tell them @ashleybenson.’

Back in February, Ashley and Brandon had shared the news of their baby girl’s arrival on social media.

Ashley introduced her newborn via an Instagram Story on February 29, showing the baby girl’s hand holding onto a finger, accompanied by a pink heart emoji.

Since getting together in January 2023, Benson and Davis have had a whirlwind romance.

In June of the same year, after five months of dating, they made their relationship public on Instagram, swiftly followed by an engagement announcement the next month.

Captioning a July 2023 Instagram Story photo of her engagement ring, Ashley referred to Brandon as her best friend, reciprocated by Brandon, who called her the love of his life.

They tied the knot in November, shortly after news broke of Benson’s pregnancy, according to outlets such as Us Weekly. 

In January, Ashley was featured on the cover of Ladygunn magazine, revealing her growing baby bump in a topless photoshoot.

In her cover story, she admitted that ‘Being a parent is gonna f***ing change everything.

‘The person that I’ve always wanted to be, I was becoming,’ she explained, referring to when she was getting to know her future husband. 

‘And I just wanted to just let that ride out and see where life takes me. Which ironically is when I connected with Brandon.’ 

Ashley’s dating history includes well-known figures like G-Eazy, Cara Delevingne, and Chord Overstreet. 

Davis, grandson of the late oil magnate Marvin H. Davis, has garnered attention in his adult years, primarily due to the substantial legacy left by his grandfather’s remarkable achievements.

During the early 2000s, Brandon was linked with Mischa Barton, known for her role in The OC, and was often seen socializing with Paris Hilton.

Maintaining a friendship with Paris Hilton over the years, Brandon and Ashley joined the Hilton family for their annual holiday party in December.
