Troubled The Block star Suzi Taylor has vowed to turn her life around, after facing several years of legal troubles.

The former reality TV star, 55, shared a clip on social media on Tuesday which captured her taking a scenic walk along the beach as she reflected on her personal transformation.

‘I’ve come a long way on this journey. It’s been terrifying, surprising and so rewarding. A lot of tears and laughs as well,’ she began.

‘But I can say finally, I think I have beaten this. I think I have come through the other side. There’s no words to explain the feeling of freedom, of beating addiction, of happiness and the feeling of waking up to a brand new day.’

Suzi added she was finally optimistic about the future.

‘I am excited about what the day is going to bring! It’s one day at a time and I am so thankful to be here,’ she revealed.

She wrote in her caption: ‘Keep up with me and let’s do this together! The road to redemption starts today. Wish me luck #newchapter.’

Suzi’s happy post comes almost a year after she shared a candid confession in her last social media post for 2024.

Posting a selfie for her followers, she shared that the past few years, during which she had been mired in legal woes, had taught her a ‘heartbreaking’ lesson.

‘The past few years have been filled with heartbreak. Losing loved ones, the absence of my children in my life,’ she began her emotional post.

She claimed family members had cut ties with her due to exaggerated media reports without ‘ever seeking to understand the truth’.

‘This experience has been a heartbreaking lesson in the meaning of family and unconditional love,’ she wrote.

The candid post continued with Suzi admitting the situation had forced her to redefine what family means.

‘Even in the midst of such profound loss and isolation, I have found resilience. I have learned family isn’t always defined by blood; it can be the unexpected souls who step in during our darkest moments,’ she said.

Suzi added she was finally optimistic about the future. 'I am excited about what the day is going to bring! It's one day at a time and I am so thankful to be here,' she revealed

Finishing the expansive post, Suzi said she was hopeful the new year would be more positive.

‘As we enter 2025, I carry with me the lessons of the past and the hope for brighter days ahead,’ she said.

‘Here’s to healing, new connections, and redefining what family means. May this year bring us all the strength to embrace the love that truly matters.’

Last year, Suzi faced a Brisbane court over a bizarre ‘honey trap’ kidnapping, the details of which had the whole television industry aghast.

The former reality star and her co-accused Ali Ebrahimi were eventually cleared on all charges, including extortion, deprivation of liberty, fraud and assault, and Daily Mail does not suggest either of them had committed a crime.

That was in 2020, and her legal troubles continued for some years.

She is currently on bail facing drug-trafficking charges and only recently had another conviction for meth possession added to her rap sheet.

In March, she pleaded guilty to charges of trespassing, stealing and common assault, but escaped jail and only had to pay a fine.

She forced entry into a home the previous October, demanding property from someone who no longer lived there.

At the time, she had just been released from prison where she’d served 50 days for evading police.

The troubled former reality TV star has been in and out of the courts on various offences over the years.

In April 2021, Suzi stood trial on charges of extortion, deprivation of liberty, assault occasioning bodily harm, fraud and attempted fraud stemming from an alleged escort date gone wrong.

Police had alleged Suzi and another man, Ali Ebrahimi, tied up and assaulted a man who had contacted her via a dating app. The pair were found not guilty on all charges.

A month later, Suzi was convicted but not further punished on charges including possessing small amounts of cocaine and marijuana, drink driving, trespassing and multiple breaches of bail.

In May 2019, she pleaded guilty to fraud and theft charges, after she was caught using a stolen credit card to buy alcohol.

The mother-of-three was filmed buying booze at a bottle shop on May 2 using a credit card she’d stolen from a patient recovering at Mater Hospital.
