The star of The Flash has kept a relatively low profile after their numerous controversies and their DC superhero flick The Flash bombed at the box office.
The film had grossed just $271.3million and is considered to be among the biggest box office bombs of all-time as Warner Bros. was projected to have suffered a $200million loss.

They sported a long red jacket over a white graphic T-Shirt, black jeans, and mid-height beige leather ostrich leather cowboy boots.
Their long black locks were pulled back into braids as they donned a black leather fanny pack across the chest while holding onto a cowboy hat.
Meanwhile back in June, Ezra and their lawyer haven spoke out after a temporary protective order against the actor was lifted in Massachusetts .
The star of The Flash — which fell flat at the box office earlier that month — had been accused of behaving inappropriately by the parents of a 12-year-old non-binary child, Tokata Iron Eyes, who is now 20-years-old.
The family of the then-underaged person also said Miller, who uses they/them pronouns, had harassed their family.
‘I’m encouraged by today’s outcome and very grateful at this moment to everyone who has stood beside me and sought to ensure that this egregious misuse of the protective order system was halted,’ Miller said in a statement shared to Instagram.
Miller never faced criminal charges for the alleged behavior.

In the note, typed in white font and set against a black background, Miller said the protective orders ‘are not meant to be used as weapons by those seeking attention or fleeting tabloid fame or some sort of personal vengeance when there are people in true and dire need of these services.’
By contrast, the entertainer noted, ‘Protective orders are meant to provide safety for individuals, families, and children who are in danger.’
The messaged went on to say, ‘I have been unjustly and directly targeted by an individual who the facts have shown has a history of such manipulative and destructive actions.’
Miller continued: ‘I implore those members of the media who have recklessly spread false claims and failed to accurately report the truth and context of this story, to hold themselves to a higher standard and take the time to find the facts, rather than chasing the clicks.’
The New Jersey-bred star shifted focus to themselves, as it was written, ‘On a personal note, I want everyone to know that I am continuing to do my best to preserve my own wellness and what I can to reverse the collateral damage this ordeal has brought upon me and those close to me.’
Closing out the statement, Ezra then said, ‘Finally, to all you many beings in this world who have had the enormous courage to see me through it all and make it here with me – I will spend a long time trying to you what it has meant to have your support.
‘You have my undying gratitude, admiration, and love. – Ezra.’

Separate legal run-in: Ezra pictured in an August 2022 mugshot taken by the Hawaii Police Department after a bar incident
A lengthy statement from Ezra’s legal representative Marissa Elkins was also shared with the public also in June.
As per Deadline, it read:
‘Today, a harassment order against my client, Ezra Miller (they/them pronouns), issued by the Greenfield District Court one year ago, expired.
The original order, pursued by Shannon Guin, on behalf of her minor child, was based on untrue allegations. Frustratingly for Ezra, Guin lodged her false allegations at a time when Ezra was struggling with significant mental health issues, and was unable to come to court to defend themself against the spurious claims made by this individual. Had Ezra been able to appear in court last year and share the truth about their very limited interactions with Ms. Guin, I am confident the original order would have never been issued.
After one year of intensive, ongoing mental health therapy, Ezra is doing much better. They were present in court today to ensure that these false allegations would not go unchallenged, whether or not Guin returned to court asking that last year’s order be extended.
Guin did not return to Greenfield District Court today to perpetuate her falsehoods, but Ezra wishes to take the opportunity now to make several things very clear:
● Their three encounters with Guin were entirely initiated by her, exceedingly brief, and absolutely did not involve any inappropriate interaction with her child.
● My office has investigated Guin’s allegations extensively. We have interviewed multiple eyewitnesses to every encounter Ezra had with Ms. Guin and her child and reviewed the numerous text and Facebook messages Ms. Guin sent to people she knew from Ezra’s inner circle and it is very clear: Ezra only came to interact with Ms. Guin when she recognized Ezra and invited herself over when they were visiting the home of a good friend in Greenfield.
● Ezra was never alone with the child and never interacted with the child outside of two brief encounters which occurred in the presence of several other adults.
● There was absolutely nothing inappropriate about Ezra’s very limited conversations with this young fan.
● Ezra never possessed, much less displayed, a weapon in any of these brief encounters, as Ms. Guin has claimed. These claims are fabrications.
Ms. Guin sought out every opportunity for chance encounters with Ezra whenever they came to Greenfield to visit these same friends and attend music events. Days before seeking the harassment order last year, Guin was still trying to ingratiate herself with Ezra’s celebrity and perceived wealth by texting Ezra’s friend, Whitney Suter, even trying to orchestrate an invitation to Ezra’s home in Vermont. All of these efforts were rebuffed.
Ezra’s inability to appear in court prevented them from speaking out against Guin’s fake allegations, as well as presenting the aforementioned evidence. The media, clearly tipped off by Ms. Guin, reported her false allegations without any diligent effort to corroborate her claims.
Ezra does not deny that in the midst of their struggle that they have made mistakes and behaved at times in ways they wish they could take back. That, however, does not make every allegation, rumor, or false accusation true. There are real world consequences when claims like these are heedlessly amplified, without any regard for the facts or the truth. These false allegations, fanned by unscrupulous media, have threatened Ezra’s recovery, and done terrible damage to their reputation and career.
Nonetheless, Ezra is in a much healthier place than they were at this time last year and is very glad to put this behind them. They are grateful to their family, friends, and community for their love, compassion and support.
Thank you.

Starring role: Miller has played The Flash in the DC Extended Universe films such as Justice League, Suicide Squad and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
In 2022, Miller was arrested several times for alleged assault and burglary; faced accusations of grooming children; and reportedly provided housing for a mother and three young children at an unlicensed cannabis farm in Vermont despite opposition from their father.
They issued a statement in August of 2022 apologizing for their behavior while revealing that they were seeking treatment for ‘complex mental health issues.’
Their reps told Variety in a statement: ‘Having recently gone through a time of intense crisis, I now understand that I am suffering complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment.’
The statement continued: ‘I want to apologize to everyone that I have alarmed and upset with my past behavior. I am committed to doing the necessary work to get back to a healthy, safe and productive stage in my life.’
Miller has been accused of disturbing and violent behavior going back to at least 2020 when a video circulated that allegedly showed the actor choking a woman while at a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland.
A source told Variety the incident took place after ‘pushy fans’ approached Miller and the actor lost their temper.
The Flash director Andy Muschietti offered an update on Miller at the time, saying, ‘We’re all hoping that they get better. [They’re] taking the steps to recovery, [they’re] dealing with mental health issues, but [they’re] well. We talked to them not too long ago, and [they’re] very committed to get better.’
Miller will return for The Flash if entertainment conglomerate Warner Bros. plans to make a sequel, Andy Muschietti said last month.
During an upcoming episode of The Discourse podcast in May, the film’s director said he would like Miller to reprise the superhero role in a potential sequel.
After the Fantastic Beasts alum faced various legal troubles and serious allegations, there was serious doubt if the debut film would even be released.
Their words: ‘I’m encouraged by today’s outcome and very grateful at this moment to everyone who has stood beside me,’ Miller said at the beginning of their statement
Ezra was pictured at The Flash premiere in Los Angeles at Ovation Hollywood earlier i in June.
It was their first public appearance after the slew of headlines for their run-ins with the law.
Miller donned a white suit jacket with black details on the chest and torso area.
Over its opening weekend, the film fell more than $15 million short of showrunners’ box-office estimates.
Previously, the film was described as ‘one of the greatest superhero movies ever made’ by Guardians of the Galaxy Director James Gunn, who was named DC Studios co-chief late last year.
