Married At First Sight has become well-known for bringing drama to screens in its almost 10 years on air.
However, an array of MAFS stars have also become embroiled in further scandals long after the cameras stopped rollings.
From Matt Ridley getting thrown out of a celebrity boxing match to Harrison Boon’s ‘unmarryables’ rant, the cast have prompted their fair share of headlines.
A host of new reality TV stars have now joined the MAFS family after the 11th series wrapped on Channel Nine, with the tense final scenes airing on Monday night.
As the 2024 drama-packed series comes to a close, Daily Mail Australia takes a look at some of the biggest scandals to engulf the show’s stars over the years.

Harrison Boon’s ‘unmarryables’ pile-on
Harrison Boon, who rose to fame on the 2023 series, prompted a social media furore this week when he described a list of single MAFS brides as ‘unmarryables’.
He was accused of being ‘misogynistic’ by other MAFS stars after coining the ‘vile’ term and posting about a dating ‘danger zone’ for women of certain ages.
Harrison took to Instagram on Tuesday to share screenshots of former MAFS brides’ dating profiles and posts about finding a match, including those of his on-screen ‘ex-wife’ Bronte and Sandy Jawanda.
He then shared an article about The Bachelor’s Abbie Chatfield discussing her recent break-up and wrote alongside the post: ‘Another unmarryable [crying laughing emoji].’
Harrison also shared a screenshot of MAFS’ Lyndall Grace tearfully announcing her break-up from her boyfriend of five months, writing alongside the picture: ‘Sucks for you Lyndall.

‘At least you haven’t embarrassed yourself by saying over and over again how much better he was than Cam,’ he added sarcastically.
‘Now you can join the rest of the unmarryables on Hinge,’ he added.
Harrison – who is dating Gina Ha – was also accused of being ‘misogynistic’ as he shared a brazen statement about the ‘danger zone’ for women being between ’27 and 35 years of age’.
He wrote: ‘You ladies might have avoided accountability on MAFS but karma is a ‘b***h’. The market ain’t buying what you’re selling and you’re running out of time.
‘All the emotional support you get from feminist echo chambers on Facebook and Instagram clearly aren’t filling that void. Best of luck though. You can always adopt a dog?’
He added on his Instagram Stories: ‘I’m gonna get cancelled for this [crying laughing emojis],’ in response to a fan as he brushed off the social media uproar.

His slew of controversial comments prompted outrage online, with a whole host of former MAFS stars taking to social media to respond to his ‘sexist’ posts.
Harrison’s MAFS ‘ex-wife’ Bronte responded to his comments about her in a series of enraged posts after he reignited their ongoing feud.
She wrote on her Instagram Stories: ‘I don’t want to give this particular person much airtime, he probably has about four years left with hair lol so he’s truly one to talk about a ‘timeline’ but I love my girls, so much!
‘Your relationship status and age doesn’t determine your self worth, ever.’
‘Being single is also a choice, a choice most of us made to HEAL from men like him and not to project the hurt they inflict on to our next partner,’ she added.

Tahnee Cook also took to her Instagram to share a lengthy post calling Harrison out on his alleged ‘misogyny’ as she slammed him as ‘disgusting’.
She wrote: ‘Anyone that shares these same views is a misogynistic pig and you should run as far away as you can. The sentiment that woman are no value to men when they hit a certain age it’s just disgusting.
‘How are we in 2024 with people still holding these beliefs? It is no longer normalised to stay in unfulfilling and toxic relationships in fear of being undesirable. Your age doesn’t determine your worthiness of love.
Responding to Tahnee’s fuming post, Harrison simply commented: ‘Nice to see all the unmarryables together in one post,’ as he added fuel to the fire.
Season 10 MAFS bride Sandy, whose post Harrison shared in his online rant, backed up Tahnee as she too called him out on his behaviour.

Footage obtained by Daily Mail Australia at the time showed the Brisbane-based law clerk being escorted to the exit by a security guard at about 9pm.
In the clip, Matt was seen stumbling to the door before being handed a bottle of water in an unceremonious exit.

Matt ‘took it well and just left,’ the onlooker said, adding: ‘He didn’t argue at all. It was an unlucky stumble really.’
He had been seated at a table alongside his MAFS co-stars Olivia Frazer, Cody Bromley, Jessica Seracino and Anthony Cincotta.
Just hours later, Matt was spotted partying with Jed McIntosh, one of the leading men from the upcoming season of The Bachelor, at The Osborne Rooftop & Bar.
The two men were seen laughing and chatting by the bar for several minutes.
Matt was a contestant on the ninth series of MAFS, where he was matched with Kate Laidlaw in a short-lived romance.

Bryce was arguably one of the most controversial grooms on the 2020 season of MAFS and he copped huge backlash from fans at the time.
He was infamously branded as ‘toxic’ after he told his partner Melissa Rawson that she wasn’t his ‘type’ on the show.
However, the couple have defied the odds and gone on to have a strong relationship, welcoming twin boys, Levi and Tate, in October 2021. They officially tied the knot in February last year.
