Teddi Mellencamp’s estranged husband Edwin Arroyave has officially debuted his new girlfriend amid his ongoing divorce from the reality star.
It comes nearly one year after the former couple’s split – which was announced in November 2024 – and amid Mellencamp’s cancer battle which began three years earlier when she was first diagnosed with melanoma.
Arroyave took to his Instagram stories on Monday to share an image as he flashed a cheerful smile next to a woman dressed in a black gown with a deep plunging neckline on the front.
He also was dapper while wearing a classic black suit as well as a black shirt and sleek, black dress shoes.
The pair struck a pose as Arroyave wrapped his arm around the woman’s waist while standing outside with a scenic ocean directly behind them.
In text added towards the bottom of the snap, he typed out, ‘About last night @hayet17h,’ while also tagging a woman named Elsa.

Earlier this month, Arroyave revealed on his The Ed’s podcast that he is ‘dating’ and that the relationship is ‘serious.’
However, he did not offer further details on the budding romance during the podcast episode.
Late last year in November, Mellencamp announced her divorce from Arroyave after 13 years of marriage.
The estranged couple are also parents to three children: Slate, 13, Cruz, 11, and Dove, five. He is also father to Bella, 15, from a previous relationship.
She posted a statement on social media at the time to reveal the shock news of the separation which read: ‘After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce.
‘My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.’
The TV personality added, ‘Making a public statement is not something I wanted to do but in an effort to protect my family from undue speculation and rumors, I felt being open, honest and vulnerable was the best path forward.’
Despite the split, both Mellencamp and Arroyave have maintained a positive relationship – with the two stars reuniting back in August to celebrate their son Cruz’s 11th birthday at Six Flags.

It came not long after Mellencamp claimed that she had learned about her estranged husband’s affair with a mutual friend only days before she made her debut on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills in 2017.
She discussed the topic on The Jamie Kern Lima Show back in July while also opening up about her paused divorce proceedings amid her cancer battle and claimed her diagnosis was ‘payback’ for her own infidelities after Arroyave’s.
Mellencamp also had a brief relationship with Ricci Rea – and announced the romance back in June.
However the following month, the star stated that they were no longer together and she explained on the Diamonds In The Rough podcast, ‘I don’t feel my best. So, when I have downtime, I want to rest.’
Earlier this month, Mellencamp gave an incredible update on her battle with stage four melanoma.
The star was first diagnosed with melanoma in 2022, and revealed in April of this year that the cancer had reached stage four and metastasized to her lungs and brain.
In the intervening years, she had a total of 17 melanomas removed from her back, but in spite of the interventions, the doctors did not realize the extent to which her illness had advanced through to her internal organs.
After being given a 50/50 chance of survival, Mellencamp revealed her cancer is now ‘undetectable’ in an emotional video.

She said on her iHeartRadio podcast, Two T’s in a Pod: ‘Just to give a little life update to you guys, I had my immunotherapy yesterday and they did my scans and at this point there is no detectable cancer.’
‘I still need to be on immunotherapy for another year and I’m not considered in remission or anything like that.
‘When they told me, I was in such shock, I was numb. So I’m still going to be having days when I’m feeling sick and stuff because I still am in immunotherapy, so I’m still fighting because you have to be,’ she said.
‘The way they [doctors] said it works, it’s like one year, then two years, then at three years you’re allowed to be considered … in remission. So, but that was huge news yesterday.’
‘You did it girl, you did it, you didn’t give up for one day. You’ve fought harder than anybody I know,’ Dolores Catania, who was filling in for Mellencamp’s usual co-host Tamra Judge for this episode, said.
‘All the tumors continued to shrink and everything. It’s been good. It’s a good day,’ Mellencamp continued.
The reality star said it’s just her eldest child who thus far has a grasp on the health update.
‘It’s just Slate that really understands,’ she said of telling her children. ‘People think just because the cancer’s gone, that I can’t still get sick or whatever, but I’m still in treatment.’
‘I still need to be on immunotherapy for another year and I’m not considered in remission or anything like that,’ she said
The star underwent emergency surgery in February to remove large tumors in her brain.
She later began radiation and immunotherapy to fight the tumors, which were a result of her 2022 melanoma metastasizing.
The effects of the growing tumors were present for six months before Mellencamp finally sought medical attention.
She’d been suffering from migraines but ignored the pain and kept moving forward as she faced other issues in her life, Mellencamp said in March on her Two Ts in a Pod podcast with Tamra Judge.
The former reality television star has been documenting each step of her treatment and recovery with fans online.
In April, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum attended a cancer benefit where she went without a wig, boldly baring her head scars from her recent procedures.

She later candidly revealed how her emotions tend to dictate whether or not she wears a wig for the day, as she urged followers to get their ‘yearly checks’ in honor of Melanoma Awareness Month.
‘The day to day decision of wig versus no wig. Crying days I tend to pick the wig,’ she wrote on Instagram, alongside a selfie in which she wore a luscious blonde mane.
‘The highs and lows of treatment for stage 4 brain and lung tumors are pretty extreme. Please go get your yearly checks,’ she urged fans.
The daughter of John Mellencamp reminded readers: ‘It’s melanoma awareness month. No better time than now to book and remind a friend or loved one.’
