Jennifer Aniston’s star power suddenly thrust her rumored new romance into the spotlight – and her supposed beau with it.
Little was widely known about life-coach Jim Curtis before the pair were spotted canoodling in Mallorca, Spain, earlier this month.
And of what we did known, most was from 49-year-old Massachusetts native’s own self-help book, which detailed his past pain, traumas and rocky interpersonal relationships with his ‘kryptonite’ first wife, their son, and his own sister – who he calls a ‘pain in the a**’.
That was, until now.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, Curtis’s former girlfriend has shed new light on what the ‘master hypnotist’ is like behind closed doors.
Alyssa Pettinato, who briefly dated Curtis a few years ago, has lifted the lid on his character mere months after he appeared on her podcast, MissJudged.

Aniston’s star power suddenly thrust her rumored new romance into the limelight – and Curtis with it
‘I call him Uncle Jesse,’ she said, likening her hypnotist ex to actor John Stamos’s character on the hit sitcom Full House.
‘He’s got a nice face. He is a successful guy. He is really smart. I think that a lot of women are drawn to that.’
But the wellness guru played coy when pressed on his relationship status back in December, when Pettinato, 37, recorded the podcast episode with him.
‘Basically, we did the episode about men being masculine, standing in their masculinity when they’re leaving a relationship – basically don’t be a cuck about it,’ she explained.
‘And we talked about, “Hey, what’s your situation?” And he just was obscure, so I have no idea still to this day what’s going on.’
While Aniston and Curtis themselves have yet to confirm the rumored romance, Pettinato said it was ‘not surprising’ to hear that he was linked to the twice-divorced actress, but joked that the Hollywood star – whose exes include Brad Pitt and Justin Theroux – is ‘such a step up.’
‘Well, I don’t know [Aniston] personally, but I do know that we share a commonality of being Greek,’ she said. ‘So, I’m sure that’s a common ground. If they are together, you know, culture is strong.’
Curtis, she noted, is also Greek.
Aniston’s father, John, was born in Greece, and it’s known that Aniston, 56, spent her childhood living in the country with her family and was raised Greek-Orthodox.

Pettinato was the one to call the relationship with Curtis quits when they briefly dated for a month ‘years ago’ after meeting on a dating app.
‘We went on a few dates. He’s just a nice guy,’ she said, noting that she eventually ‘ghosted’ him.
‘We didn’t work out. It’s my fault. But he’s a good guy. I think he’s definitely a really great guy. I think he would be a fantastic partner to somebody,’ she said.
She also described Curtis as ‘the type of person that can get along with most people,’ adding that he’s ‘easy to have a conversation with.’
‘He’s unproblematic,’ she said.
She also praised the fact that he is ‘mindful’ and has been successful in his own right, which she says is due to him being a ‘pragmatic and calm person.’
In fact, Pettinato – who also owns the wedding planning service Alinato Events – said that she got back in touch to ask him to appear on her podcast because she believes he is ‘very knowledgeable’ about the topic of how to be a masculine man in a relationship, the topic of discussion in the February 27 episode he was featured on.
‘We’re just acquaintances,’ Pettinato noted. ‘But I have nothing bad to say about him.’
‘I think everything happens for a reason,’ she continued, ‘and I feel like we’re both where we’re supposed to be.’

Aniston and Curtis were reportedly longtime friends before striking up something more-than. Since then, the rumored lovebirds have been spotted vacationing in Spain and at the California luxury hotel, Ventana Big Sur.
Eagle-eyed fans have noted the Friends star has liked some of the hypnotist’s social media posts in the past, and recently told followers she was reading his book, ‘Shift: Quantum Manifestation Guide: A Workbook for Coding a New Consciousness’ – and indulging in some hypnotism herself.
A source previously told the Daily Mail that Aniston is ‘very happy’ with her love life and is ‘taking things slowly’ with Curtis, who her friends reportedly think ‘are a perfect match.’
‘They both share a deep love of doing “inner work” and Jen thinks that Jim is quite remarkable in that respect,’ the source said.
‘Jen has read just about every self-help book worth reading and Jim coming into her life has felt like fate.’
Pettinato, who is a fan of Aniston, said she is supportive of Curtis and any new relationships, especially since they have stayed in contact. She even said that her ex is ‘always invited’ to be a guest on her podcast, teasing a potential collaboration again in the future.
‘Any relationship that he gets in, I would just be on the sidelines cheering him on and just giving him the best,’ she said. ‘I mean, everyone deserves love, especially people that come from divorce. More power – get it. Get the love!’
