Lauren Phillips’ ex-husband Lachlan Spark has married his long-time partner Courtney Wynbergen in a low-key ceremony in Greece.

The former TV producer, who split with Lauren in 2018 after just one year of marriage, shared a gallery of loved-up wedding photos to Instagram on Friday.

One photo captured the newlyweds having a bduring their stunning outdoor ceremony, while another showed the lovebirds enjoying their first passionate kiss as husband and wife.

Lachlan cut a dashing figure in a tailored cream blazer, matching trousers and smart tan dress shoes as he lovingly posed alongside his blushing bride.

Meanwhile, Courtney opted for an unconventional wedding outfit, cutting a glamorous figure in a unique off-the-shoulder long-sleeved mini dress.

The pair radiated love in the adorable photos as they rocked their best angles in a ceremony photoshoot while celebrating their big day.

Lachlan and Courtney got engaged in August last year after his short-lived marriage to Nova presenter Lauren came to an end in 2018.

The exes were together for seven years before a bitter split saw them sensationally take digs at each other in public.

Lachlan made headlines when he accused Lauren of acting selfishly and claimed he’d expected more from their relationship than ‘skin-deep friends, free holidays and Instagram followers’.

Looking back at their doomed romance, the couple’s extravagant wedding could well have been the last straw for publicity-shy Lachlan. 

After seven years of dating, Lachlan and Lauren wed in December 2017 in what was widely viewed as the flashiest Aussie nuptials of the year.

The pair exchanged vows in the manicured garden of a private property in Victoria’s picturesque Mornington Peninsula. 

At the time, the Herald Sun reported there was a guest list of 180 people, including footy power couple Rebecca and Chris Judd, model Kris Smith, AFL star Jonathan Brown, Nova FM radio host Michael Wipfli and Channel Nine sports reporter Clint Stanaway, who was the emcee. 

On the big day, Lauren turned heads in an extravagant, custom-made ballgown by Con Ilio, which featured intricate beading.

The breakfast TV star carried a white floral bouquet and completed her look with a long tulle veil, while Lachlan looked suave in a black suit with a bow tie.

Unfortunately, the newlyweds’ fairytale would soon come to an end, as just one year later, in December 2018, the couple announced their separation. 

Lachlan flew under the radar for the next two years, before unexpectedly posting an eyebrow-raising Instagram post about Lauren in 2020.

He accused her of ‘caring more about herself’ during their relationship and saying he ‘wasted’ years of his life. 

Lauren subsequently began dating Australian aviation entrepreneur Paul O’Brien, and they announced their engagement in July last year.
