Ewan McGregor and Wife Share Sweet Rome Moment

They just celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. 

And and his wife Mary Elizabeth Winstead looked as loved-up as ever as they were spotted kissing and snapping selfies in Rome. 

The actor, 55, and Sky High star, 41, were seen snapping selfies and enjoying a tender kiss in the Italian sunshine. 

The duo could not keep their hands off one another as they soaked up the sun.  

Mary looked incredibly chic in a flowing blue dress while the esteemed star wore a grey tee and white trousers while showing a peek of his inked-up arms. 

In May 2017, Ewan and Mary began their relationship after meeting on the set of Fargo. Their son Laurie was born in June 2021 before they wed in April 2022. 

Ewan previously married Eve Mavrakis in 1995, before going on to have four daughters - : actresses Clara and Esther as well as two adopted girls, one of whom, Jamyan McGregor, 25, was an orphaned child from Mongolia, and Anouk, 15.

In January 2018, having been separated since May 2017, Ewan filed for divorce from Eve, citing irreconcilable differences before the divorce was finalised in August 2020.

Ewan and Mary worked with each other again on the superhero film film Birds Of Prey in 2020, which is based on the DC Comics team the Birds of Prey.

The couple split their time between the US and Scotland, with Mary revealing her passion for the arrangement last year: 'We have been spending our time between L.A. and [our house near Perthshire]. We're kind of settling in a little bit...

'As much as I love working and as grateful as I am. [Being in Scotland] was very wholesome, very simple, and I was like, ‘If I could just choose what heaven is going to be, this is heaven for me...

'Just being at our house and cooking. We have an apple tree, and picking apples and being outside and being in nature — having nothing else to do — it's just perfect.'  

It was revealed last month that Ewan's ex Eve has put the Los Angeles mansion they once shared on the rental market – five years after she was awarded the £4.5million property during their divorce.

Trainspotting star Ewan and French production designer Eve purchased the home for just under £1.5million in 2002.

Located in Brentwood, the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom 1930s mansion has undergone what the listing describes as an ‘extensive’ restoration and remodelling in recent years.

Last year, Mr McGregor asked for a restraining order against a woman who alleged to have made threats against him and drove hundreds of miles to see him at Christmas.

It was claimed the woman posed a 'threat of imminent danger' to him and his loved ones.

Court documents filed in the United States alleged the woman saw herself as the Trainspotting star's jilted lover and believed his second wife, Mary stole him from her.

American celebrity website TMZ reported court documents filed in Los Angeles said the threat increased late last year when the woman drove more than 1,900 miles from Minnesota to California on Christmas Eve to the home of his ex-wife, Eve.
