The glamorous Australian model, 37, tells this week's Stellar magazine that she was overcome by emotion when she finally received the exciting news.
'I'm going to cry! It's only taken me 30 seconds, and here I am crying. After 20 rounds of , I'm pregnant, it feels so weird to say out loud,' Erin began.
She added it was amazing to finally receive this joyful news after years of struggling to get pregnant, as she recounted just how difficult the journey had been.
'It wasn't easy to get here. I've had 20 rounds, five egg collections, seven transfers, four miscarriages, one ectopic pregnancy, one round of chemotherapy to save a tube, two hysteroscopies... I've injected myself thousands of times,' she revealed.
'This is the first time I've cried and it's probably because I'm saying it out loud to someone other than my husband and immediate family.'

'To be honest, it still kind of feels like I haven't gotten into the club yet. I'm at the front of the line but I haven't entered through. I know nothing is promised in fertility,' she said.
'I feel like I'm as close as I've ever been. That's really exciting but it's like a Pandora's box of parenthood and I'm trying to pry it open with every plier and winch known to man.'
Erin then said how she and her husband Ben would be parenting their child,
'My husband and I are based in two different cities for work, so we've started to have conversations about where we're going to primarily live,' she said.
'He's been in a team environment his entire life where cricket is a very family orientated sport. Families travel with the players a lot and he's been around families for a really long time. It's broken my heart that I couldn't give him that.
'I know he's going to be a fantastic really hands-on parent.'
