Emmerdale viewers were left on the edges of their seats as Friday’s episode ended on two massive cliffhangers.
The drama-packed episode saw Moira Dingle discover who her husband Cain and his half-brother Caleb have locked in an abandoned farmhouse in a shocking twist.
In another big development, a mystery villager also overheard Charity Dingle and Mack Boyd discussing their affair, meaning Chloe Harris could learn of the betrayal.
But viewers will have to wait until Monday to see if they will be clued in on the identities of either of the mystery people after being left on two huge cliffhangers.
Earlier this week, viewers learned that Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Caleb (William Ash) had locked someone up in an abandoned farmhouse after taking a mysterious trip.

The two had left the village in a hurry and claimed they were working on a car consignment deal in Holland, but Moira (Natalie J. Robb) appeared unconvinced by the story.
And in Friday’s episode, she further suspected Cain was lying when Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) revealed he knew nothing about the deal.
Standing close by, Caleb was then heard telling Cain that he’d keep an eye on their ‘houseguest’ but would need his brother to take over later, adding to the mystery.
Later, Cain then headed to the farmhouse and could sense that someone was following him, but was left shocked when he discovered it was Moira.
The pair then became embroiled in a row where Moira told him not to lie to her, with Cain trying to reassure her that he wasn’t hiding anything and it was ‘just business’.
Referencing his life of crime, Moira fumed: ‘If you do go back inside again, I won’t be waiting for you, you’re on your own pal.’
Cain asked her: ‘Can you not just trust me?’ but she hit back with: ‘Because that’s gone so well!’
Moira then questioned him about what type of business involved an abandoned farmhouse, with Cain spinning a lie about planning to buy the farm for Nate.

He urged Moira not to tell Nate and ruin the surprise and joked that it was the ‘last time’ he tried to do anything nice, with his wife believing him.
However, as they shared a hug, Moira heard a large crash on the property and charged inside the farmhouse to discover what was really going on.
Pushing Cain off, she unlocked the bolted door and discovered a mysterious hooded figure sitting on a sofa.
She looked alarm and signalled that she knew who mystery person as she asked: ‘You?’ while looking at Cain in complete shock.
Reacting to the cliffhanger, viewers took to Twitter to share their frustration that the identity of the hostage has not yet been revealed, leaving them in suspense.
One wrote: ‘Nah that ending! Who is cain and Caleb keeping in that bl**dy barn?’
Another said: ‘OMG who is it????’, while a third penned: ‘Who the heck was that in the barn who we thinking?’
Another added: ‘I don’t possibly know who the hostage is?, Moira seems to know him, but WHO is it?’
It was not the only cliffhanger of the episode as a mystery villager also overheard Charity and Mack discussing their affair.
The exes recently slept together and have been hiding the affair from Mack’s new partner – and the mother of his son Reuben – Chloe (Jessie Elland).

After Charity told Mack he had to come clean, he has been trying to persuade her not to reveal his lies, insisting it doesn’t matter as he plans to move to Scotland with Chloe.
In their latest confrontation, Charity said: ‘You have put me in an impossible situation, having to lie to Chloe and have her apologise all the time.’
In a hushed conversation outside the pub toilets, Mack told Charity of his plans to move to Scotland with Chloe, pleading with her to keep their affair a secret.
‘What’s this obsession for the truth? It’s like dropping a bomb for the sake of it,’ he said.
‘What’s your obsession with destroying me and Chloe? It’s not like you want me back.’
Mack then laughed as he became convinced that Charity wants to rekindle things, prompting her to fume: ‘We are so done!’
She added: ‘For the first time in my life, I’m trying to do right by somebody else. Chloe is a good kid.’
But Mack pleaded: ‘She loves me, please Charity, let me have that.’
Charity argued: ‘Don’t you dare make this my fault! We had sex, we both wanted it, pretty explosive if I remember.’

An unimpressed Charity then agreed to keep their affair a secret, telling him: ‘OK, we’ll do it your way… I hope to God it never catches up with you Mack. Cross my heart, she won’t hear anything from me, OK?’
However, as they walked away, the door of the ladies toilets gradually opened, teasing that a mystery villager had overheard the entire confrontation.
