Save me: The cliffhanger at the end of the ITV soap saw Mack reach out his hand and grab the arm of one of the women, while the car went crashing to the ground below, presumably with the other woman inside
While on the road, they discovered Charity broken down at the side of the road and Chloe asks her if she wanted a lift, with an ulterior motive to abandon her in a remote location as well.
However, after noticing Chloe’s increasingly erratic behavior, Charity asked her if she could stop the car and let her out.
As a row erupted, another car crashed into them, sending the car crashing across the road and over to the side of the cliff.
Mack regained consciousness and got out of the vehicle after spotting his phone in the undergrowth, getting out to call the emergency services.
Charity was the next person to wake up, but panicked when she realised the car was close to falling off the edge of the cliff.
Mack made promises that she wouldn’t die and Chloe soon woke up too.
Charity also made Mack promise that Reuben would always know how much she loved him as they all panicked about how they would escape.
As they tried to leave the car it began to rock and Charity called out: ‘It’s going to go!’
Both women reached out their hands so Mack could pull them to safety, however he was only able to grab one person before the car went crashing to the ground.

A few people suggested that the nails on the hand of the woman he saved were a giveaway, because Chloe had long nails whereas Charity – and the saved person – had short nails.
